Gaston is a better villain than most marvel ones :lol

Because it was his private retreat? I'm not sure what you're thinking was so obvious. If I see somebody with private property my mind doesn't instantly assume that there must be a bunch of murdered children buried on the premises but that's just me.

This reminds me of the old twilight zone episode when aliens come to earth offering to help humanity offering a book called to serve man only to find out it's a cook book. Whenever things seem perfect there's always something nefarious behind it. Paradise 101 I like to call it.

The governor in the walking dead...

Going Nebula first then Ayesha

Excellent choice. I love Karen Gillan (and have a thing for bald chicks) so I totally get it. But there's something magnetic with Debicki with me.

They need a better mission as well. A high stakes mission ...

YES! Totally agree. What better way to test a team.

This movie gave almost everyone a moment of repose about themselves -- but had very little to do with "the team". This is a 'team' franchise -- or it should be.

I think the biggest problem is that they had to answer questions that the first movie raised.

The fact that this movie's purpose was to answer the questions about his dad ruined the whole thing.

I wish his dad stuff was a side story of a bigger plot. They should have made the plot with the gold people bigger and have the stuff with the dad be the side story

If the stuff on egos panet was so boring the first time watching, i cant believe how bad its going to be on repeat watchings

I'm with Khev I didn't automatically think of murdered children on first viewing lol.

I mean I knew he was going to be bad that I figured out but not the dead kids part. :lol

Specially when those skull and bones were of other Weird species.

I thought it was a trophy room like in predator 2 :lol :lol :lol

Did he make himself look like whatever species he was screwing around with or were all of the aliens in love with his human form.

This whole Ego thing is a mess lol.

Im tired of people using "comic book movie" as an excuse for things wrong with it.
This is a big studio hundred+ million blockbuster summer movie released WorldWide.... this aint barney the dinosaur.

Even thought this is a comedy, this is still a marvel movie..

Disney princess 'villains have better stories and motivations than Ego did... Gaston is a better villain than most marvel ones :lol

Never said it was excuse. It's just not high drama. I enjoyed it. Might see it again.

It isnt high comedy or high action either (plot wise)

The plot is extremely thin. You can cut one hour of the movie and not lose anything important

This barely has a story. I dont the plot counts as a story. Just a sequence of events glued together

Yes as I stated I only thought it was a cool twist that the skeletons were his *kids,* not that he turned out to be a bad guy. Of course that part was obvious.

Why did his fake body age? Quinn never met him as a kid. He should have been young Kurt Russell the whole movie.

Missed opportunity, he should've said that he chose that look because he loved how bad ass the actor Kurt Russell looked lol.

I mean why not, the movie had no problem throwing around Hasselhoff references.
