Guesses for GI JOE SDCC previews?

I predict 2 new figures, 4 previewed in various stages of production, and 1 new environment. At least I hope.

Maybe not, but I think that like SW they'll keep pumping out the 12 inch figures year after year. A great PF still beats any 1/6 figure which caters to those who just want the most awesome representation of a character on display, even HT's latest and greatest Dastan can't measure up to the PF.

Funny you say that because their T-800 spanks the ____ out of both Sideshow's PF and the Cinemaquette. Their Rambos (even the first) look night and day better than Sideshow's retard-looking PF as well.

It would be nice to get a Joe and a Cobra.... Zartan seems very likely. On the Joe side Stalker would be my first choice.

My best guesses would be any of the following in 12":

1. Commando Snake-Eyes
2. Zartan
3. Viper or Crimson Guard
4. General Hawk

I would be surprised, but we might see a Commando Snake-Eyes PF, the Flint/Zartan dio, or Armor Cobra Commander.

But the greatness is far and few between.

I unfortunately do think we'll see the Baroness they sneak-peaked a while back, unless there's another female PF that wears black leather.

So we hear before every new figure announcement. Go to SSC's official site and pull up all the 12 inch Joes. We've already got a pretty nice line-up. By this time next year we'll probably only be needing the females and possibly Destro.

Technically, we only have 2 Joes. Hardly a "pretty nice" line-up.

Bah, they'll ship when they're ready. Snakes, Duke, Flint, Beach Head and a bunch of Cobras for them to fight. Nice line-up that continues to get bigger and better with each passing, uh, quarter.

Prototype PFs are usually amazing. However production PFs are usually ok at best. Sideshow can't achieve any level of consistancy, in any scale, but most disturbing that they cant do it in their most prized premium format lines. The G I Joe PFs will be no different. My guess is about 1 in 5 will be truly amazing. So we might see 2 amazing Joe PFs.

But wouldn't you agree that for PF's not based on specific human likenesses the success ratio is mucher higher? The Evil Queen, Blackbeard, and most of the Marvels turned out fantastic. So while Sgt. Slaughter might end up looking like an overtanned stroke victim Snake Eyes and Scarlett should turn out great.
