I was definitely far, far from being serious. I was just trying to be tongue in cheek and inject some hyperbole into the thread. I'm not actually that emotionally invested in the financial success of this movie--I enjoyed it but I'm not wringing my hands as I fret about the box office.

haha I get it... but some people do freak when their movie doesn't fair well. OMG! First world problems! FML!!!

Why are you guys ganging up on Shai? He can have his opinion.

lol People griping about a person's opinion. Oh let him have it. Not everyone is going to like the same movie. Now if he posts 30 times about how he didn't like it, then there maybe a problem, but yeah... it's not a bad thing to have differing opinions.

Indeed, as long as he's not just saying "OMG did movie was **** and you are morons for liking it" and saying similiar things over and over and over then it's cool

Saw this earlier in 3D, absolutely loved it. IMO it's by far the best movie of the year so far, no words do justice what an exciting and amazing experience it was.

I really enjoyed it! A solid 8/10 for me.

Ok, so it has a thin plot and a lot of flimsy characters but it still remains to be a solid movie.

The sheer scale of this movie is hugely impressive! The fight scenes are immense, you literally feel every blow!

All my other more sophisticated movies in my collection seem so tiny now. :rotfl

My favorite part was when Gypsy danger hit that monster with the Sideshow container. I was like "My action figures!"

Just got back from my second viewing, it was just as good if not better the second time. I still love every minute of this film. The characters are funny, the relationships are strong, especially Makos and Relieghs, I loved it. One of my favorite parts is when she first meets him and speaks japanese not realizing he knows it as well and he asks her "better or worse" lol And that memory, man I love the memory where Mako gets stuck, the crab Kaiju coming after her was intense.

The only thing I wish they did was show more of the fight in Australia and the fight in the mind meld in Japan, those would have been good places to put more action in the film but the scenes work in the film as they are. Such a great film, will be seeing it again soon, maybe tonight but probably during the week sometime.

Yeah, I wish they showed the coyote tango fight.
