That one is my favourite so far. I just love that big reactor (or whatever it is) on his shoulders. His head being beneath that thing gives it a very bulky, almost bull-like appearance if you know what I mean!

Are people completely incapable of having measured, reasoned, rational opinions and expectations? I don't play the game where you either have to be "Meh. Looks lame." or "OMG! Amazing!!!! I came in my pants!"

I was accused of being a "Debbie Downer" because I posited, in essence, that this is a no-brainer idea that has real potential on the hands of a filmmaker like GDT, but that I'm gonna wait until I see it before proclaiming it a geek touchstone. I'm not immediately jumping about the hype train, yet I do have high hopes for this and will be there opening day. But I guess that makes me negative to some. Geezuz.

It's just like current politics. There is no room for the moderates.

I'm not sure why anyone would have low expectations for this.

This isn't another Battle: LA/Skyline/Battleship/Transformers...there are actually talented people behind this. Plus the robots and monsters are bigger.

I am reading a lot of really negative and nasty comments about this one. I understand this is not everyone's cup of tea but I was surprised at the negative comments. Stuff like "Pure Crap this movie is so unoriginal and pathetic"
or "The patients have taken over the asylum in Hollywood. How does this moronic stuff get funded? I guess they are counting on the nearly infinite stupidity of the moviegoing public."

I don't think is THAT bad. I mean even for people that are not into this.

what makes me laugh about that is how much they beat up the guy in the Demon suit specially when they are tearing off his clothes.

Young people. Do they not still teach folks that there is a varied and nuianced range between High and Low?

Having semi-high or even medium expectations.. is not the same as "low".

That said, of course this looks leagues better than Skyfall, etc. Now THAT is low.
