Can't lie, that's probably the best trailer released since the man of steel trailers. That showed everything that people have been complaining about the earlier trailers didn't show. It shows how strong the human element of this film is and why the two pilots are important. This is how the marketing should have been from the beginning, not that I really mind as I know del toro delivers with story but not alot of people know who GDT is and really don't care. I wonder if the new spots and what not in the next week will feature more of what was in this trailer, the human element.

Holy cow!!!
I just got back from the screening and I gotta say! It's the perfect summer movie! Good all fashioned PopCorn movie! But... it's not all bells and whistles, there's plenty of character development and backstory to it!! For the layman...think of it as Jurassic Park meets Hellboy 2 with a small grain of The Fifth Element (mostly some of the humor)... for those experienced on the Kaiju/Mecha fields, it's literally old school 70's Getter Robo/Grendizer with a touch of MechaGodzilla/Moguera!
Absolutely Fantastic!!
Cannot wait to watch it again!!!

Let me gather my thoughts guys and I'll post more details...
I'm still way to hyped about it!!

A couple of things though, if you thought MOS destroyed a city, wait 'til you see this one!
And I REALLY recommend reading the prequel novel, it does add a LOT to the experience!!
