I always hated the other tagline the theaters were using to push the big Imax experience, etc. They kept saying "Go big, or go home." Well yeah, it was kind of a nice choice with the state of movie going these days and all the loud obnoxious people in theaters. I was very careful in my selection of theater to see this in so hopefully I won't be detracted by trashy people.

Good choice. This movie will likely suck and disappoint for sure.

I on the other hand will be booking my Pacific Rim ticket tomorrow for the opening show on Friday.

But I am curious on the consensus. Which I think is- The film is big, loud, full of action, but isn't stupid.

I love reading Devin's reviews, but I tend to read only the early and last bits of his review if I have not seen the movie.

This time I haven't read any reviews, I have bookmarked his review and couple of others; will be reading them after watching the movie.

I skimmed through it. I agree with you there. I tend to read the first few lines, maybe a paragraph in the middle, and then the ending line.

I haven't watched the past 3 trailers. I've kept myself pretty free of anything.

Same here. I skipped those three trailers, I think they focused on the characters more in those trailers. The trailer titled "Official Main Trailer" (May 16) is the last one I saw and that's enough for me.
