Had no problem finding SCAR 17 mags at the gun show today. Anyone who wants one AND can have one shipped LEGALLY from AZ, let me know.

They are not cheap...75.00 per...BEFORE shipping. Next weekend's gun show will be much bigger and I will check on more of them and hopefully for better prices.

Went to the range with my dad Friday. 70 year old man shootin .375 loads out of his gp100. It made more noise than my 12 gauge. What a blast(pun not intended). It's funny there were 3 big guys in the booth next to ours and they're shooting a 9mm. Every time my dad went up to shoot one of them would poke his head around the booth, see my dad, and then get this wtf look on his face. It was awesome. Especially since my dad was shooting better than them too.

That is a 3,000.00 rifle. If you can get it that cheap, do it. And get one for me as well. I have been looking in to it and putting off getting it as it is simply not my first choice of rifles, but at that price, I would be happy to move it up on the priority list.

If it is a full on SCAR 16 or SCAR 17.

fact is, if he could get it that cheap he would have already. he is full of ****, unless it is used and abused and someone is looking for a sucker to buy.

I talked with them this morning since you guys got me thinking. I last looked at it 2 months ago the price has gone up slightly to 2200$ now but it varies from rifle to rifle and he only had 2 instock with no idea if they would ever get more and they had a total of 4 when they first started selling them. The apparent reason they are so cheap is they were all heavily used and we're sold to the exchange instead of going threw private sale from the bases they were used at. They were sure were they originally came from but they are converted to civilian use and the one I saw there recently didn't look that pretty but it looked functioning.

my wife doesn't like the "look" of extended magazines for some reasons. She loved the Ruger 10/22 because the 10 round magazine fits inside and doesn't stick out. I am still going to pick her up one though because I am sure she is going to get tired of reloading every ten shots at some point.

Make sure that the mags are the "steel lipped" version. More durable.

Not cheap at all.

That vendor, selling the SCAR 17 mags, realizes how hard these are to find. He tripled the price of them. :gah:

Wow. $75 is crazy for a magazine. Makes me want to stick with an AR.

Took my scar to the range today, shot great but overheated like a mother ****er! Tomorrow the FNAR gets broke in good.

Looking at getting a Springfield M1A, any opinions on that rifle?

That rifle has been speaking for itself for so long that nothing needs to be said. It is automatically a smart buy.

True. I just wanted to know if anyone on here has one and recommends it. My local shop has one and I've been eyeing it hard as of late.

Just picked up a Beretta Px4 sub compact .40 cal...can't find a good IWB holster that I really like. Think I'm gonna just get a custom kydex holster. Anyone using an IWB kydex holster?

No on the holster. But how do you like the gun. I have the same one. I love it.

if you can wait, Raven Concealment makes the best Kydex holster available. Every single one is custom made when the order comes through. Top notch materials, made in the gool 'ol USA and customer service is outstanding during the build-up when you are putting together what you need.
