I think thats the associative emotion you have attached because you know the story. if she knew she was gonna fall offa building I think she'd worn a parachute. it's fine if JSC wanted to capture her tragic life in this, I for one am glad he failed because this is a very happy depiction of her. Sad people would never have prepared and looked this stylish in a rain storm. Now if you wanna talk about how those shoes could never be worn by anybody cause the heels don't align properly with the ball of the shoe, that's a deep meaning conversation i could get into:)

I wouldn't say JSC failed, you just prefer your own interpretation and thats ok too. I can see where you're coming from in a way. This is an homage statue to a dead chick. Rain is a very classic depiction of sadness, gloom. Smiles, while happy, can be sad or tragic in context. For instance, I wouldn't consider this a happy picture even tho he's smiling:

but whatever floats your boat, I'll agree to disagree. Its a gorgeous piece and I'll leave it at that. Now about her heels not aligning properly to the ball of her shoe... I dunno, but if JYE wants to take it up with Sideshow I'll be a witness :rotfl

Nevermind, I just tried it, and it didn't work either.

When i try to apply it, it says, "SKU: 200162 is not eligible for giftcard purchase. Please select an eligible item to apply this code."

Sure it wasn't the code? I saw people had issues actually with the code itself.

I wasn't able to apply the $25 GC on Gwen ... were you?

I mixed up this and Mary Jane. MJ is the one that is giftcard eligible.

:lol they did it exactly as she was drawn, i'd have to take it up with dear ole JSC. to me some 2D work doesn't translate well to 3D medium. however, i think they stuck enough to the comic appearance that they produced the best representation of his art.:wave

that got to me a bit, I may add more of a heel, but no rush, would be a easy fix though

Anyone feel like she is going to lean? The umbrella is really heavy and it seems like it's pulling her down to her right. So I just moved her closer to the cabinet wall so the umbrella is pushing against the wall. Same thing with my Psylocke PF, her hair is so heavy, she's leaning to her flowing hair side after a few years of gravity doing it's trick.

weird, anyone else with the crazy left eyebrow? It doesn't look like a factory error since mine has a pattern to it kinda zigzaggy at the top of the brow...not sure what happened there...

just got mine in and that was the first thing i noticed...thought it was a defect as well. but after looking at everyone's pics, that just appears to be how it was designed. strange...
