Although I liked the concept of trying to make the "Halloween" films an anthology of stand-alone horror stories, Halloween III is basically a Twilight Zone/Outer Limits story stretched out to a boring and forgettable full length movie that didn't age well at all compared to many of the other horror films from the same era.

Props needs to be given for trying to do something different though, that's for sure.

Yeah, they could've just brought Michael Myers back to kill a bunch of randos and cause trouble...which is what they did in 1988 anyway. :slap

I love this film and still hope they make a sequel... But there's loads of unanswered questions such as the android Ellie at the end and the time zones defeating Cochran's plan or why would a TV station remove a pre-paid advert because an unknown man screams down the phone at them?:lol

Above all it highlights what John Carpenter fans have known for a long while, just what an underrated actor Tom Atkins is.

I remember some guy coming into a book store where I worked as a kid. He couldn't remember the genre section he was looking for, but described it as "real life" or something like that - I suggested non-fiction, but no, that wasn't it. Finally, he made his way over to the horror section, and remembered that's what he was looking for. I figure he must have had a very interesting life.

Booze...

I loathe this movie and it's the one that always seems to be playing whenever I try to watch the Halloween marathon. I can never get that aggravating jingle out of my head after watching it either.

It's such a weird film but I've never had a grain of interest into the plot once it begins. Even though I don't find any of these movies scary, if I'm in the mood for a "scary" movie I'm still a ghost, excorcism or crazy, unstoppable killer guy.

I don't like it very much, but it is one of the more memorable horror movies to me for being so freaky and odd for a film in this franchise. If I watch a horror movie tonight, it's probably gonna be Texas Chainsaw 2--my choice for the most underrated masterpiece of '80s horror.

Impeccable taste as always.

Lol I'm sorry. Hey I'm clearly outnumbered. This is the movie with the melody from "London Bridge is falling down" Over and over right? Lol

You are of course entitled to your opinion. But you are unquestionably incorrect.
:lol

Yeah, I've been known to be wrong from time-to-time. Those two pictures are great I won't lie.
