I'm assuming that's more stuff from the books lol I'm clueless when it comes to the halo literature, I've never read the books or expanded universe stuff.

I got this game for Christmas and was really excited to play it. Sadly, I was very disappointed. I finished the campaign in around 8 hours. Played it in one sitting. I don't do much MP and it just bums me out that they would put out a game with such an incredibly short campaign. I liked how they continued the story...but I am glad this was a gift because if I had paid $60+ for 8 hours of game play I would be pissed.

Yeah, it's way too short.
If you aren't going to utilize the MP then yes it's not worth the $60.
It's the way most MP games are going and another reason to wait for reviews before buying.
Gears and Colonial Marines worry me for that reason.
H4 really needs better and bigger maps.
Exile and Ragnarok are tedious.
Spartan Ops are poorly written and voice acted.
Hopefully the update will fix some things.

I disagree, I thought the campaign was good and the multi is the best Halo multi out there IMO.
