Ok, so I jumped off the cliff 5 times, and I knifed the Elite to save myself and NO achievement. I know I hit the ground because my health and shields went down. This is for the "if they came to hear me beg" achievement by the way.

You need to unclick the sprint button in the air or the game doesn't recognize your in free fall.

I've done it like a dozen times while turning off sprint before the assassination and still no achievement for me.

I tried that too. Nothing still. I think my achievement may just be glitched. A Mafia 2 achievement wouldn't unlock for me either.

That custom firefight board was insane. I had about 10 of the killionaire or whatever medals. I could play that all night. I am glad we got to team up too. First day i have completed all the daily challenges i think too.

I shot that guy who booted me point blank with a rocket. I turned around and got shook lol. Thought he was an elite.

Yeah when you join, you have to pick 'Join Party' from the Dashboard or from the friends list to hear everyone. If you pick 'Join Player' you'll be locked out the chat, unless they send invite. Its really confusing.

The Brutes seem to look really plain, or just bad. I don't remember them looking like this even in Halo 2.

Really? I think they look fantastic and much better than the previous looks. I think graphically everything about this game is superior to the past games although I will admit I enjoyed the campaign of Halo 3 more. I would have loved that type of lengthy campaign with a troop of Spartans.
