Ok, so I'm still trying to unlock(If they came here to hear me beg) and it's not unlocking. I've tried unclicking sprint after I jump, and nothing. I have assassinated the Elite 15 times now, and NO achievement. Anyone have any insight on this??

The jump has to be able to kill you, maybe thats where your going wrong

Man that achievement has to be bugged. The catch is, there doesn't seem to really be any clear instructions on what has to be done. Some people say you have to unclick sprint, some say you don't. Some say you have to land on top of the elite, some say behind. Some say you have to have a certain color elite, some say it doesn't matter. Some say you need a certain amount of height in the jump, others say you don't. Some say wait till Emile says "race you to her", some say you don't.

It's not clear at all. I've literally done dozens of assassinations from the cliff of that level and gotten nothing. I've turned sprint off, I've left it on, I've gotten several different animations from the assassination, I've done it on normal-legendary, I've done it to both colored elites, standing in different spots, I've done it holding different guns, before Emile talks and after... Not a damn thing.

I have done every single thing i have seen others say and do in their videos and still cant get it. This achievement is definitely messed up. Bungie or someone needs to address this and explain why people are getting it and others are not. I don't want to hear the same retarded response that most people who have it give "you have to unclick sprint or the fall won't kill you" or "you aren't landing on him in the right spot". BULL S#!T!

If I miss the guy and die then obviously the fall will kill me and if I assassinate the guy from the same jump, then I should get it. Not have the damn planets align while standing on my head singing Yankee doodle!

I just had a funny glitch happen. I jumped off the cliff in the begining of The Pillar of Autumn. When a Grunt that was half way behind the truck and trailer flew at me screaming!!!!!
(yes I seriously mean "flew" at me) ____in weird ass ____

oh, and that Youtube video doesn't help, I tried that one 19 times and no luck

^ I dont think that's a glitch. Sounds like a very Grunt thing to do.


Also, SWAT is the best thing i've ever played, and the only thing i'm halfway decent at. I can head shot a mother ____er at pointblank range with a pistol. And I'm proud of that.
