Hmmm....I don't think I've ever gotten "lost" in Halo...its a pretty linear game....I use the Walkthroughs from Game FAQs for Achievements and stuff.

Hitting MP first, possibly some co-op campaign. SP isn't going anywhere, it's best to start MP when everyone else does.
