Pfft, those are weak, thin, virus-like tentacles. I like my tentacles strong, long and girthy.
It's a looooooong way down...

I think I can count on one hand the number of franchises I like that haven't been ruined.... yet. It's a looooooong way down...
I don't think I can. I can't think of a single big IP that I'm still excited to consume more of. Either's it's dead, or it's spiritually dead. I've come to think the former is much more preferable...I think I can count on one hand the number of franchises I like that haven't been ruined.... yet.
I literally went “well, at least Legacy of Kain is forgotten and not ruined” and then saw this.I don't think I can. I can't think of a single big IP that I'm still excited to consume more of. Either's it's dead, or it's spiritually dead. I've come to think the former is much more preferable...
I want a remake too, and a continuation, but at this point it'd be better to let sleeping dogs lie. I don't want to see it get dumbed down and ruined in order for it to have more "mass appeal".I literally went “well, at least Legacy of Kain is forgotten and not ruined” and then saw this.
Good taste.
…I still demand a remake.
Raziel is on my limited “dream list”. Have a Neca figure that I had to fix after its arm broke on me.I want a remake too, and a continuation, but at this point it'd be better to let sleeping dogs lie. I don't want to see it get dumbed down and ruined in order for it to have more "mass appeal".
I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't give anything for good Raziel and Kain dollies, however...
I'm a bit more of a Kain since I grvitate towards bastards, but I get you. I've tried to make a limited dream list many times now, but I go "Doom", then Vader/Anakin and from then on it snowballs to 30 places, so...Raziel is on my limited “dream list”. To think... Blomkamp was ready to begin filming Halo (all the pre-production and props etc were done, they were about to start filming the thing) when studio squabbling got it canned. At least we got District 9 in the aftermath. Then he was ready to start his sequel to Aliens when Ridley Scott got all pissy and had it cancelled, leaving us with Alien Covenant (puke noises). And since bad luck sometimes comes in 3's Blomkamp was all set to do his sequel to the 80's Robocop movie when that project got canned too.It hurts to think that there was a time where Peter Jackson was ready, willing, and lined up to do a series of Halo films. We were that close.
Here's the whole film, it's really worth a watch.
Dammit I had forgotten about that entirely, he was on for Halo at one point too. The Alien continuation is so unfortuante as well; it'd be interesting to see if Disney has any leverage on that front moving forward. I doubt it...but one can hope.To think... Dude can't get a break!
No Way Home was a 200mil movie and has terrible CG movement. Budget doesn’t seem to equal quality.Whew man...I kinda swore this off after hearing all the hubub but curiosity and a YouTube recommendation got me to check some scenes out.
How is this a 90 million buck series? I mean holy hell the CG movement is barely on par with early 2000s video game cutscenes. What's wild is that there are stills of the elites which look extremely high quality...and then they move and it's atrocious.

Let's be honest here, the developers of Last Of Us 2 killed their own franchise. They literally stuck out their middle finger to the entire fan base. It's one thing to try to take a story in a different direction for storytelling reasons, it's another to intentionally appear to incite your core fan base as a type of punishment for not being woke enough.
Definitely not a him issue, it's a good percentage of the games Fanbase, you can't be so oblivious to the way they pushed an agenda. This is hysterical. Or tragic. People actually think like this? You literally don't know what 'literally' means. TLOU2 had female leads, what a disrespectful act against its (totally reasonable) fanbase. If something in that game triggered you, it's definitely a you issue, not one in the game.
Oh, and this Halo show looks awful.

I'd pay a dollar to see that. You know what would be cool?
A Dead Space series.
