You are all surprised by this fact? It's the body they put it on people. They don't make special bodies for the Star Wars figures just because they are a few inches shorter than each other. Aren't all the figures the same height?

There were 3 basic buck bodies:angelsmil

Maybe they could use the Hobbit body:rolleyes:

It's not that hard to do which annoys me that SS didn't:

Basically, unscrew the torso, remove the center abdominal piece, resize the barbell that holds the torso to the pelvis (it runs through the abdominal piece you'll remove) and then re-assemble. Essentially, the only thing they would have had to do was shorten the barbell and exclude a section of the torso. :(

I think you will be very popular when Sideshow starts shipping out this set, my friend. At least, I will be looking for you. Hah hah.:D

I could careless about the height issue, dont want to give SS another reason to charge more $$

Now my interest in these has cooled off again... height isn't a giant issue, but at the same time its fairly integral to Luke that he is "short for a Stormtrooper". Having him the same height as Han is bothersome and coupled with the price tag may be a deal breaker.

I'm gonna try to order them... but I'm honestly disappointed.

I'm still excited about getting these. The lack of height difference doesn't bother me at all. The only thing that's hurting is the price! I know you get 2 figures, but it's going to be a tight couple of months! I have on order Toht Ex, Iron Man II, Vader, and now these 2 if I manage to snag them on Friday.

My wife's gonna kill me. :(

Yeah, same here. I'll try to get my order in on Friday, bit if I miss out, I'm not too fussed.

It's also an order I may drop down the road if something better comes along.

Shame, this should have been a home run!

Well, there were 1,977 of ANH Luke and Han made and they lasted for an hour or so, right?? I don't think these will be in any MORE demand than the iconic costumes

This is typical SSC...I'm honestly disappointed cause I was hoping they would be pulling out all the stops. The helmets still have a "wow" factor to them but the height deal should have been addressed...afterall they had the foresight to address it in the pictures! Why not the actual figures?! Didn't they promise that the Pro and Armor bodies would be modual...or was it just the Pro?

Admittedly, this is not a HUGE deal, but it is a big enough issue that SSC should have addressed.

And from the pics, I won't be doing the mod...makes Luke look short and pudgy. The body needs to be proportioned differently...or at least the armor does.

See you Thursday SSC, but I am...disappointed.

What, did you mistake SSC for HotToys? :lol The previous body, the Buck, had several different height variations. It's a shame that while they claim all of these newer bodies are modular, we've yet to see them actually take it a step further in production and prove it with a figure. This would've been the perfect opportunity, being a cheap and easy fix but instead, they chose to intentionally fumble. :(
