Height don't matter to me, I'm more interested in the head sculpts....quite disappointed that they didn't show any close up shots of the head.

Well, look at this picture

Luke is in front of Han by just a bit, and he still looks shorter. I know it's not up for debate anymore that he IS shorter, but there's no bent legs and he's not behind Han for forced perspective, so how did they accomplish that??

That's still enough forced perspective. They actually appear to be the same height to me in that particular pic (if they were indeed standing in line).

Have peeople been complaining about having no idea about the size of pieces, it seems like every new thing shot by Sideshow has an apple in it for scale.

Yeah, but apples come in different sizes. It's a very odd thing to use for scale reference. :lol

I guess you guys will have to futz and modify him just like must be done to nearly all SS Star Wars figures to make them look acceptable.. :lol

If you click on the link in the preview email, there's a pic of all the comicon exclusives boxed....

Luke and Han looks like a box similar to the Palps/Emperor one

I was surprised by the fact theyd be the same height. I'd like them to be shorter but I got bigger fish to fry than getting pissed over this.

I figured I'd ask Brant the height question because the shot perspectives gave me a sneaking suspicion that both figures were the same height. My follow up question would have been what parts did they adjust to reduce Luke's height? I'm not too bothered by this since thenammagazine appears to have a solution https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54582&page=86. I don't think it's any reason to panic guys. Yeah it's annoying, but Luke's armor would have been a tad bigger on him so think of this as a "complex" futz. Heck many of us just boiled and floor polished Stormtrooper armor and that turned out just fine.

If you look closely you can see how it was done. Not only is Luke lower and closer, but Han's stance is actually narrower and he's leaning sideways and up, away from Luke, to fill more of the corner of the image and give the impression of being taller... no shame whatsoever. :lol

Again, it's an easy mod to do, but that very fact makes it all the more disappointing that Sideshow failed to take it upon themselves to preserve the accuracy and blow such a key moment in the film.

i wouldnt mind getting these, they both look pretty nice. but not sure about the price. especially since i wanna get the pred figure and a couple of other things. have a few days to think it over i guess. When is SDCC? cause i could always order and cancel if i change my mind before the con/cut off date.

SDCC starts July 22nd.

I am very disappointed if indeed Han and Luke are the same height, especially when the set comes at $200.:(
