I thought the apple was for scale, but if you collect 12" figures you'd know what you're getting.

The hi-res images were the first things I looked at when these up for sale. The paint apps are not all that great for protos.
I also wanted to get a better look at Luke. He did look like POTA in those small pics. Han looked better in the small pics and not so great in the bigger ones.

If they are heads that fit under helmets don't look for Troopers of any kind because heads that fit under would mean undersized sculpts or oversized helmets. X-Wings are a possibility since those looks slightly oversized to begin with but I think we are thinking out of the box enough to what could be referred to as a "helmet".

I think the reference was to the Fetts. There's no way you could sufficiently do a Stormtrooper or Clone Trooper without either having the helmets come apart unrealistically, be oversided or the heads undersized. The Fetts are really the only exception.

Possibily because the Fett helmet itself is really thin inside, if its not decked out with details that is. The thing is I remember reading in one of the SSC Q&As that Boba wasn't in the immediate plans....anyone else remember that? It'd seem weird for them to be sitting on sculpts for so long...

Ah, yes, but suspiciously, Jango was left out of that statement. ;)

See my problem is I have a much harder time canceling after its ordered than to just let them go past. Plus I always feel guilty canceling something. :lol I know it makes no sense.

THE HELMETS AREN'T DESIGNED TO FIT ON THE CHARACTERS!!!!!

I just watched the Backstage Pass video and the guy said they were designed as a holding piece!!! I can't believe that!!!! Han and and Luke can't even wear their helmets!!!!!!!!!

I didn't look back on other posts, but did people know this? WOW. Big messup if you ask me.

Yep, its been known for some time now... but the internal detail is really cool. So I think its a fair trade.

BTW, since you just learned about the helmets... Luke is not shorter than Han. So now you have something else to ponder.

You are a little late to the game. We are now onto the size of Luke and Han's privates and how they are not film accurate behind the cod piece. :lecture

Yeah I knew about the height thing. Sorry I don't frequent the boards as much as I used to.

I made the stormtrooper helmets fit HT heads.

And Temura Morrison doesn't have much hair as Jango or Cody, so you could make his head sized to fit in the respective helmets.

"Made" like modded or "Made" like forced on? Either way its not right out of box and if it were forced on forget about keeping paint apps underneath.

WELCOME BACK! :D Glad to see you pulled through the coma! :p

Actually Katkura's casts could only do that with the oversized Hasbro clone bucket. So I don't know about that. You'd have to shrink the head a bit which wouldn't look right, nor be to scale with Sideshow's noggins.

WHAT?!!!! The helmets don't fit AND Luke isn't shorter than Han?!!!! OMG!!!!:horror

:lol

"Made" as in I gutted the insides of the helmets and they fit over the heads very naturally.

Still not an out of the box thing. Possible that SSC would/could do that as well though but I would worry about the paint apps underneath.
