Are the issues of price and quality also present in ss's releases for statues and the like? Or are these issues limited to their 1/6 products?
Alex is a 'she'.
Where is Sideshow Alex who used to respond to fans here? What would he say about the mad price increases the last two years?
Oh, he's no where to be seen... Sideshow probably cut his job... Who needs customer service.
I know the price isn't by any means great but I was more so disappointed on the base being tiny and that for $250 they couldn't figure out how to use magnets to have this float without a wonky rod from the back end.
And a big, bright metal rod as a holder?
Yep, that's what struck me as the oddest. If you're going to include the floor as part of the diorama piece then at least leave room for figures to fit on it. And a big, bright metal rod as a holder?
Alex is a she and she still works for Sideshow.
Price aside, the base is a real head scratcher. Sideshow put a lot of thought and engineering into getting to "float" securely but overlooked how in that horizontal position it is an accessory to Stormtroopers and Bounty hunters. The integrated base leaves no good display options for setting this scene, so what's the point of positioning that way?
