These are impatient flippers then... they're new to the game, the real OG flippers know when to wait before they turn their statues over or offer for trades. These sellers look like flippers that are panicking because they aren't seeing immediate 2-4x price increases like they're seeing on a Doom PF EX when in fact it took that PF almost 6 years to even get to 2k. Bottom line is if you're new to the game of flipping and you can't afford to store 30-50 statues for 5-6 years do yourself (financially) and collectors (edition sizes) a favor and don't put in an order. Ebay's your only hope of reaching a wide enough audience and no way a regular version of a statue jumps 13% in one year to cover your ebay & paypal fees so your dumb *** can break even on a sale.

Extremely true. And for every Doom EX you have out there, there will be a greater number of pieces that lose value.

I have seen a zillion people in various hobbies lose their shirts trying to flip; it is mostly a game of luck - and one draws the ire of other collectors should one be discovered doing it.

Factor in 10% for fees and most of these sellers lost money. Plus shipping from SS.

Meh whatever, to each their own. People can buy whatever they want. I've seen around six listings of Joker Regs go under retail but that may change over the years. I think I irked people that bought him is all lol. Anyway, thanks.

Alpha's post does not support your position one bit. He is talking about flipping a Joker PF and the profits/loss associated with it. You were talking about being able to easily pick one up for under retail. A statement you continually make with no facts to support your position.

For the record, the price of a statue is not an opinion but a fact. If you don't like the look of a statue, if you don't like a pose, if you think the cloth on a piece looks bad, or if you don't like the wormy looking eyes on a certain COH, etc....these are opinions. The fact is that over the last 2 months the average price for a Joker PF on the bay came to $387 + shipping. That average cost is above the retail price by SSC for the Joker PF. That is a fact, not an opinion. Peeps didn't jump on you because you stated an opinion. They jumped on you because you consistently misrepresent the facts.
