Premium Format Harley Quinn

I don't think they'll drop more than 4-5 good PF pieces in a year for this line.

Where it gets tough is in situations like mine where I'm collecting SW Mythos, Marvel Comiquettes (soon to be PF), and DC PFs. FML. I can't say "no" when I see a great piece.

I'm thinking next year we'll see Superman, Catwoman, WW, another JLA, and maybe one or two other Gotham baddies.

For Mythos line (off topic) I think we'll see another 5 releases.

Marvel PF (previously Comiquettes) I think we'll see MJ and three or four other drops of which I'll probably jump on two.

Next year could be a $4K year for me if this comes true. I'm starting to think about selling some of my stuff to focus my collection a little more.

However back on to Harley Quinn...

This piece is one of my more anticipated pieces. I love Harley. I think this statue completely does her justice. I think we need to see her in hand, which should be around the corner at SDCC. Unfortunately, I doubt they'll be posing her EX which is the one I think we all need to see for ourselves first hand.

Yeah, I am not bound by a single line either and that makes things a bit more tricky. Lets hope they space those heavy hitters out a bit.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. Right now for next year I have Harley and Superman on PO and Punisher Classic on Waitlist. If they toss out Wonder Woman, Catwoman and any other Major Character PF's I could be in trouble. My bank account might tap out if they release anything horror movie related.

I just like the way this line is going.

If they don't tap into the baddies it will be a very short run for me. Same with if they don't expand the Marvel PF line to fit with the previously launched comiquettes. But getting into the Mr. freezes, Scarecrows, Banes, Electros, Mysterios, etc means a lot more $$$ going out. SS wont get far with me if they keep playing it safe launching strictly tier 1 characters and female statues.

I'm thinking I might put up some of my LOTR collection and Legendary Scale Busts on EBay to make room.

Yeah I totally understand. I have Harley and Superman for next year so far and I'll be ordering WW, the new Spider-man and Mary Jane, anything Batman related and most likely video game related if I love the game. I don't think they will do Supergirl yet so I am safe there and I am hoping Catwoman is preordered around the time Harley ships next year like Ivy and Harley were. Cause I think she is the next Batman related PF. Thank God I don't collect SW or any other Marvel line besides SM. I would get Thor, Iron man, Cap, and hulk if they did them in modern comic style, but I don't think that is happening anytime soon. I dread the day though when they release a Batman LSF because I'll be selling plasma and bone marrow to afford that along with whatever PF's I have coming that same year too.

I agree, I honestly think she's coming at SDCC. Last year they did two DC PF's POed at SDCC. I'll imagine we may get the same. And since we've seen concept art for Catwoman and sketches for Wonder Woman and Flash I'll speculate two out of the three will be POed in July.

No it's not overly Nit-picky. They could have done what they did for the Catwoman LSF, although I hate how they cut the bodysuit on that figure.

This is kind of what I was expecting. I've seen SS pull it off well on a few other pieces however it may be that the leather is made up of layered red and black pattern that it gets overly complex.

I find the material used takes away from her sexiness a little. I'd throw an extra $50 to get that in a glossy bodysuit in place of the fabric.

Altogether I love this Harley but I could love it more. It would take her from a 3.8/5 to a 4.5/5.

Knowing this ahead of time and potentially getting some feedback from SDCC attendees, I could at least start scouting for custom work if I'm not satisfied with the concepts in hand.
