Saw Part 1 yesterday, very dark movie--I think they did a pretty good job, although I'm surprised they didn't have a teaser after the credits for part 2

I thought it was great. Well adapted from the book and the camping didn't really bother me. It's part of the story and I knew that going in.

My thoughts exactly. I loved the movie and really look forward to the last one.

Fred dies along with Lupin &Tonks ( not kids ) and Bellatrix and Voldemort from the bad side. I forgot that Collin Creavy (sp) dies as does Crab ( Draco's friend ). Quite a few people die.

It's been a while since I read the books, but this one seemed like the most faithful adaptation we've had in a while.

I think that if I had been the one making the film, I would have made the female Hogwarts prisoner from the intro be someone we've seen before and not a new character that we don't care about, and I wouldn't have killed Moody off screen. That would have raised the stakes a bit higher for the audience and made things feel more dangerous.
