Finally got our chance to see it today! Excellent movie all around, with the score being superb! :clap
First movie in a long while where I'm actually interested in purchasing the soundtrack.

Like many, it's hard to believe it's over, but I honestly couldn't think of a better way to wrap up the series.

I thought it was fantastic, perfect end to the series, however there were a few scenes that went by too fast and also..

The epilogue set 19 years later however was not easy to watch imo, i was really hoping they would cast older actors for that part, i could not take Harry,Ron,Hermione and Ginny seriously as parents 19 years on ..it just looked really odd and noting like how i had pictured that scene while reading the book ..it actually reminded me of back to the future 2.

Sadly we got no TDKR trailer!:(

What is funny is that the pics from that scene seemed to accomplish the task yet on-screen it didn't really come through, they did look a little off. Although personally I liked this over other actors.

Yeah that scene was kinda silly. They didnt look much older at all:lol, especially Hermione.

I saw it on Saturday morning with my twin brother.
I have to say it was a great movie, I really enjoyed it a lot and it sucks that there won't be another Harry Potter movie.

they still looked like they were in their 20s :lol

That's what I thought. I was thinking "did it really say 19 years later??" Because Harry still doesn't have facial hair. Come on...they couldn't use CGI to add a couple wrinkles here and there??

I agree. I admire the attempt, but it wasn't convincing, IMO. I saw the facial hair and said to myself, "Yeah.....no." The entire theater I was in erupted with laughter at the sight of Harry. (Probably for a few reasons, but that was definitely one of them, I'm sure.) I just didn't buy it. A minor critique because I thought the movie as a whole was good, but nonetheless, definitely one of those 'Hmmmm' moments.

:exactly:

The only student, that for me transformed very well for that scene is Draco! Also, the scene where Molly killed Bellatrix..I mean come on, it looks like Molly just fighting a student. Bellatrix was easily killed IMHO.

Anyway, saw the movie last night and it didn't disappoint me! A magnificent exit for the series. Yeah, some scenes went by too fast like Calcifer said but overall: Epic! :wink1:

Heading back out tonight to catch the film again. I wont change my mind that 10-15 minutes should have been added so we could see other students and professors at Hogwarts give us a show. But I just love HP so much that I can't not go back a second time. I'll probably even go back a third.

I'm excited to see Snape's scenes again. I love watching his face when
he duels with Mcgonagall. He doesn't want to fight her, and you can tell. And he can't do or say anything about it. And I think it's just an excellent scene. And of course him holding Lily. That one gets me.

I was so caught up in the first scene you mentioned that I didn't even notice that. :1-1:

I plan to since the theater I saw it at sucked. At times, I felt like I were watching it on a big projection TV. :monkey2

OKay, then we will both see it again. I however, am going tonight. This breaks my heart...
