I spoke to GG and they said they took a handful with them to sdcc for pickups/sale. They are no different from the ones that PGM pre-ordered.

I brought a Neville off an ebay seller who had one straight from SDCC. It was shipped from the US on the 30th, so I expect him in a week or so

I wish Sideshow had the Blade Runner license, but I'm happy they don't.

I wish Sideshow had the Halloween (1st) license, but I'm happy they don't.

I wish Sideshow had the Harry Potter license, but I'm happy they don't.

At the Sideshow dinner party at SDCC, one of the Sideshow guys asked me if Sideshow could get one license they don't currently have, what would it be? I immediately said Harry Potter. I told him that I was aware Gentle Giant has it, but I wasn't interested in mini-busts. And that they've been showing the PF-style statues for a couple years now and they were nowhere to be seen at SDCC.

He said that things are constantly evolving and changing and we talked about a few other things. I ended the conversation by simply saying that if Sideshow ever got the HP license, I would be in the poor house. He told me I should start saving my money.

Take that for what you will.

I hope this means they will eventually get the HP license. I just need a bellatrix PF and possibly a Snape, but I would be happy with just bellatrix

The pic isn't working. Let me know how it looks. From the photos on ebay the jewels seemed to look a bit pink, and have a bit of a different engraving in the handle.

I bought the Gordic sword from NC. I never took it off the "base". Although it is removable there is a brace/latch that you would have to unscrew to remove it. Although I never tried. I still haven't hung it up. Haven't sitting in my closet.

Havn't heard of any replica wooden wands. There's plenty of wooden wands out there -getting one of Hermione's would be tough.

I got charged for Voldemort, so I expect a shipping notice anyday. Still haven't been charged for Longbottom from GG.
