You should at least get one of them, even if you're just a moderate fan of Star Wars like me. I have three of them and all of them are amazing.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I will eventually make a purchase here and there. I have had them in my hands many times but left them there on the shelf and walked away. I might just stick with the Cantina & Jabba Aliens, Bounty Hunters and Vader/Chewbacca. Not into the human main characters at this point. Having said that I passed on Greedo the other day....:dunno

As great as Greedo, Boba Fett, and the Sandtrooper look, I don't think they're as fun as Luke or Han. The range of motion and the amount of poses is a bit limited for the armored troops. Not a deal breaker but certainly limits an adult's idea of playing with his toys. Greedo could probably be put into a number of poses but in the movie he points a gun, sits down, and is blown away. The poor bastard never even got to pull the trigger....

Thank you, Harmy!

Has anyone painted Greedo's eyes black? Am I correct in thinking they painted them the wrong color? I've never really scrutinized over that detail but previous figures have been black so that's why it's engrained in my mind.

Stopped at a Target last night and they had some of Wave 1 and a ton of Wave 2 out....but no Fetts to be found of course.

Greedo is back to $12 on Amazon, but I can't think of anything else to order to get free shipping and make it worth it. Hate that they upped free shipping to $35

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

Been trying to resist these for ages. However, on my annual trip to Toys R I got to see them in the flesh.

They had most of wave 2. No Boba of course but Greedo looked fantastic. Before I knew it Greedo and Han jumped into the shopping trolley and I found myself asking a sales assistant if they had any Boba Fetts. Off she went and came back with one (their stock list showed they had 26!!!). Boba looks amazing.

It's amazing how accommodating the staff can be when you've got a few hundred pounds of stuff in your trolley!!

Sadly no wave 1, so now I need to locate a Luke and R2 (I'm doing original Kenner releases only). Can't wait for the stormie in wave 3.

Went to my local Target last night and politely asked an employee if they had Boba Fett. He went in back and brought me one. Christmas is truly a season for miracles!!!

Needless to say, he's awesome!

Found wave 2 at target in calgary, Picked up 3 Boba's, 2 hans and a greedo, will get slave leia when my case arrives to my LCS next year, and the second greedo is getting his vest removed to become the other rodian in the falcon hangar...

Managed to snag and lay by the whole second wave at Target in the in the city, but surprisingly they are not getting in a lot of wave two as they did for wave one of the six inch line. Maybe in Australia the 35.00 price tag at Target scared a lot of customers off and so there was not a large order this time for the second wave but am still surprised at how little were on the shelves this time.

After hearing how popular Boba is am glad I got at least one of him and if I spot another one will pick him up but am not too fussed about it. Just hope this wave and wave 3 sell well enough to keep the series going as I feel its such a great new way to get Star Wars back out there for adult collectors and make it seem new and exciting again.

Has anyone else though heard anything new on the supposed Jabba and land speeder sets in the six inch line ?

Nice score man, but that price :thud:

The speeder bike will likely be shown at toy fair an out in the summer time (maybe even an sdcc ex...!? jk) as for jabba, no new solid news really.

on a boba fett note, made a couple minor mods to mine..shortened the cape by about half an inch (really helped) and cut off his wookie braids and re-adjusted them to fit closer (had a bad gap)

Anyone else done any mods? im planning a jodo kast repaint when I find a spare fett

hey guys I bought R2 from amazon a few weeks back and it had some dings on the boxes. no big deal but im one of the guys who keep stuff in the box.
now today my order for a Sandtrooper, Luke and Greedo came in and again the boxes are in less than mint condition.
Im pretty sure this is why they are selling them for cheap bc of damaged boxes.
good deals but if your a picky collector i would go for retail.

I thought Greedo shot first?

It is rather expensive to collect Star Wars figures over here when compared to the states, and the exclusives at TRU stores over here tend to be on the high end of things too. The X wing I believe is going for about 100.00 AU and the Metroplex in the Transformers line for example is still in the upper 200.00 mark but then again its TRU so you are paying through the nose most cases there.

I did get lucky though with the wave 2 as they scanned at 18.00 a piece and so was much cheaper than wave 1 but I think now the head office got wind of it and now have changed the prices back to the original 35.00 price range. Hopefully wave 3 will be 18.00 but who knows with Target and the head office and their stuff ups.

Sorry about that. I got R2 and Maul on Amazon when they were on sale (don't know if they still are), and both of my boxes were in perfect condition. I knew I should have saved my boxes for some reason...I could have sent you them. Though, I guess there'd be the chance of them getting dinged in transit to you.

Greedo, maul, r2 and xwing luke back on amazon for 10-12$ again

Only after George Lucas decided to muck around with it.

Personally Ive never understood the outcry over this. Lucas to my knowledge always said it was meant for Greedo to shoot first, Han to dodge and then kill him. They just shot it badly the first time around. That's not a real change like the blu ray has for say rendering new anakin in place of old anakin at the end of rotj, oradding the "no" to vader in rotj (hoooorrible change imo). With Greedo it seemed they just fixed what had gone badly first time around, I get them doing that.

I think what bothers ppl about greedo shooting so much, is that the act of Solo shooting him without being shot at first changes his character. A guy who anticipates being shot at and shoots first is a little more badass (and heartless anti-hero) than a guy who simply dodges a shot, reacts and shoots. Regardless of the original intention, setting up Solo as that cold blooded kind of dude set up his character well and makes his shift to being more of a nice guy all the more fun.

That's a bunch of bull. :lol

Good guys don't always wait first to get shot at before they shoot. Those who follow that philosophy don't always get to pull a shot off.

There's a reason Obi Wan said Mos Eisley was a hive of scum and villainy. And beyond that, Han Solo was, um, more complicated than that if Lucas truly wanted him to be interesting. Since Lucas borrowed so much from mythology, you want me to believe Odysseus was a FTD flower delivery guy? Odysseus was good - if you were on the right side of him.

I qualify my opinion with, who care what I think? That said, Lucas can take a cold shower if he thinks I've got character issues because I'd shoot first. For crying out loud, Solo had a muzzle pointed right at him.

But it's not about me. ;0)

Its cool man thanks though. Its nothing major.
