It's pretty cool, so you should get one. It displays great with the original Kenner figure.

I like that they're doing a 6 inch line. I don't feel the need to buy them all. I'll cherry pick my favorite characters (ie. I will be skipping the prequel figures)

Not sure why you'd hope the line fails? 6" figures have been slowing getting more and more attention over the past couple of years. What with MOTU Classics, TMNT Classic Collection, Marvel Legends, DC Collectibles New 52 range, and continueing NECA 6" awesomeness, that scale is just going to get more and more attention!!

I always wished the SW 3.75" figures were bigger, just to allow more detail, better articulation, and just presence on the display shelf. With this new Black Series line, I reckon SW is going to be the rocket boost for 6" figures everywhere!

Like others, I'll try to stick to only original trilogy characters only. Either way, I'm glad they're trying something different rather than continueing the 3.75" vintage collection line that was definitely getting a little stale.
