Couple of modified (repainted and accessorized) Sandtroopers, Pilot Luke; that's worth having for me. Other than that this line has been dead to me a long time due to reasons we've all talked to death. That Luke though...ouch.

The hell were they thinking? Never mind how it looks, there is no internal consistency with their design choices. Sculpted, soft goods, half sculpted, half soft...WHATEVER. Why should anything in ONE LINE be consistent and match?

Go home Hasbro, you're drunk.
Well said. :lol

I thought this line stunk from the first wave, & I was tentatively going to be on board for a few of them if they turned out ok. As you say, the Sandies & Pilot Luke were (& still are) stand outs, & I'd throw Greedo in there too. The Speeder bike was good as well (not the Scout).

The rest really are garbage.

Apparently the Slave Leia figure is now considered offensive. LOL People seriously need to get a life and quit trying to find things to complain about.

Jesus, from the content to the presentation, that article only reinforces my perception of Florida.

From the article:

The toy is sold all over the country for about $15-20 bucks. (15-20 dollars bucks?)

"I got 2 daughters I don't need seeing that crap."

These have been peg warming for how long now and they're just starting to notice? lolz

Out-of-the-box Luke is probably best, provided the paint apps line up. The black pauldron sandies seemed to have the best paint apps and QC, but I'd say most of the sandtroopers need modifications (paint stripping and/or minor repaints) to reach their full potential.

I'd also give Boba Fett honourable mention as he has great shelf presence in a neutral stance, although his articulation is hindered by sculpt and the finish on his jumpsuit could have been better.

So Sandtrooper, X-Wing Luke, Greedo, and Boba Fett. Sure, people have their favourites and the line still has its fans, but I think those really are the top four and they manage to be orders of magnitude better than the rest. I know Maul got a lot of love but that one failed to move me.

It's a wasted opportunity, mass market or not.

Why does this reinforce your perception of Florida? It happened in Philadelphia.

So I've decided to jump into this line as a way to save money over the avalanche of 1/6 figures that will be coming. I'm still buying the Hot Toys ANH figures, but am going to do minor characters and scenes I would never buy in 1/6 or don't have the room for. So far I plan to set up a Hoth dio and a Jabba's throne room dio.

Disappointed to see the negative views of this line. At the very least, I figure I can pick up everything I need for the above dio for less than the cost of one figure.

As far as negative views, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you are looking for McFarlane or NECA quality figures, this line ain't it. If you are just looking for "action figures", it is. Sure, some figures are better than others but I've been pretty happy with the line over all. With the 3 3/4" line basically dead in the water (except for the 5 POA figures), I've come to embrace it.

Re: Hasbro legends 6" sw figures

To each their own. If you like the line, you are likely not judging it by the same criteria as someone like myself ... and that's perfectly fine because it becomes a question of taste.

I like stuff that other collectors hate. It's part of the game.

Yes! I forgot about Boba, also a nice figure absolutely.

I only have a few from this line - white Boba, Sandie, Stormie, Biker/bike and Jabba - and really love them all. Like some of the coolest SW collectibles I've seen, and I have "modern era" purchases going back over 20 years.:)slap) I'm still hoping to grab Bossk, Tauntaun/Han and Wampa/Luke.

I guess the line is a disappointment to those who have really dived in, and I understand the grief over figs like Vader. For me as an "occasional" buyer, these are anything but garbage, though I've so far only ever paid 50% below retail, so maybe that's distorting my judgement.

The ones you mentioned are all great, but their quality also makes weaker figures look really bad! I'm quite tempted to return to this line though, it's great to see them doing Rebels characters already. And Revan is a must-have!

Does anyone have Palpatine? I dismissed that figure immediately, but I'd love to see in-hand pics.

Whelp, I took the plunge thanks to the Prime Day $20 off 100 for Amazon credit cards, a bunch of rewards points, and some Amazon gift cards.

Ended up paying 1/2 price for the following:

Han & Luke Stormtroopers
Boba Fett
Bossk
Slave Leia
Han & Luke Hoth
Stormtrooper
Scout Trooper with Bike

Time to start planning the dios!

Why can't Diamond Select pick up this line? Did you see how they are rocking the Ghostbusters at Con?

Just got my Commander Cody today. Bit of a giraffe neck, but I'm a fan.

For the most part, I have been sticking with the bad-guys only. The "rebels" stuff has done nothing to convince me the collection needs to grow past my 'bad guy' rule.

I'm sticking to the Aliens and Some troopers. I keep them MOC and don't have to many: Boba, stormtrooper, Bossk, Chewbacca and Jabba. I do want to purchase IG 88 and Boushh. I'm going to only
Stick with OT and non human sculpts (ie Bespins, Jedi, Hoth). Will do a Lando Skiff!

Well I would like to pick up IG-88 and Bossk but you know..

No stores sell past wave 2. So, yeah.

I was actually shocked. I grabbed the Red Clone and Emperor off a Walmart shelf. Found the TIE pilot at a Target a few weeks before that.

Leia Boussh and IG both looked a bit weird to me proportion wise. With a cut of the tape, these can be MOC/Loose and back again.
