Seeing the first wave and the SDCC "live" got me excited, but the 2nd wave protos are a bit disappointing to be honest... Obi Wan, Greedo and Han are way too tall IMO...

Any pics? Greedo of all characters should not be tall. He should be as short as Luke, no?

To be fair, if someone really wish to jump through the hoops to get a SDCC EX Boba Fett/Han Carbonite set and wish to make like $100 on it, I do think it is fair.

I was there preview night. They do not allow people with Exhibitor's badge to line up. Only regular passes, and even I am within the first 10 feet when the line starts forming (and the pushing and crushing and the harassment by security etc), it still took me over an hour to get my items. My other buddy that gets in line later ended up stuck at the Hasbro booth for over 3 hours and by the time he gets out, Preview Night is almost over!

The regular days, people has to go upstairs to a different area to first line up for a ticket, then go back to line up at the booth. People without ticket cannot go to buy at the booth. A friend of mine who missed coming at Preview Night actually went up to try get a ticket at 7am, and he DID NOT get one. That is how crazy it is!! And mind you, they do not guarantee you will get what you want even you have a ticket. Basically, if you go there late and the allotment of that toy for the day is sold out, then you are just out of luck and please try again tomorrow!

They limit 1 per customer on Fett (and some other popular items like the GI Joe set and Metroplex) so one person can only get one! If he is going through hours of this and he wants to sell ONE figure to make a little money back, I think he deserves it. I think the aggravation and time spent is WAY MORE than $100 worth.

Also, mind you he does not get the whole total. EBAY and PAYPAL's charges are raping too....

Just my 2 cents, with first hand experience freshly coming back from Comic-Con!

Just unpacked and opened my Boba. Took some quick pix:

I didn't go. I can't complain I was unable to get an SDCC exclusive. Other people who did go entered the line and left empty handed because it sold out before they got to the front of the line. Because of these guys wanting to make money. Not cool. They're not collectors and they're not in this hobby for the enjoyment. They're selfcentered jerks. The great thing about places like SSF is you can find other collectors passionate about collecting and willing to help other collectors out. If and when I sell things, I try to cover the cost I paid for it. I don't jack up the price to eBay prices and say that's what it's worth so that's what you pay. It's worth those prices because of scalpels/flippers in the first place. The more people that pay those prices, the higher those prices get. Don't pay those prices. Especially for Hasbro junk! No exclusive is ever truly exclusive.

Cool pix. I'd really like to own this guy.

I guarantee, if SDCC exclusives went away, a few thousand people who couldn't buy tickets would be able to attend the show. I ****ing hate SDCC flippers.

Ditto but I have a feeling it will be sold out @ HTS. Hopefully WM, Target or even TRU will be caring Fett in abundance.

Later this year I believe for wave 2?

Hey, HTS has to sell out to someone! It could be any of us. Who knows? I'm willing to try and pay the exclusive price just to get Fett several months early. But I'm not going out of my way or spending anymore than HTS prices to get him.

I have a feeling Greedo will be the short shipped one of the bunch. Boba is popular and will sell out quickly even if there are more of him. Greedo and Leia I see having a harder time moving than him and Han. We shall see.

If I understand correctly, none of the figures will be "shortpacked" in this line seeing as they're all 1 per case...atleast that's how wave 1 seems to have played out so far.

I thought that would be the case too. But I saw a photo of them on the shelves (in Asia?). There were 6 Luke's, 6 R2s, one Maul, and one Sandtrooper. Nevermind. With that as a model, Boba will be short shipped....

When i preordered them for my shop it was cases of 4 with 1 of each character i hope Hasbro hasn't changed that.

Hmm, are you certain it was a fresh and untouched shipment? Although I highly doubt Maul would have sold 5 figures before a Luke or even R2...

No I'm not really sure what I was looking at. Saw it at Rebelscum or somewhere like it I think. But that's true HTS has a case with one each to a case. I hope the whole line stays that way.

The thing about the whole 1 each per case idea that gets me thinking is that it makes none of the figures more rare than others but it bases it completely off demand if you're gonna be able to find them. There are gonna be hard times ahead to find a sandtrooper/stormtrooper due to army builders and some difficulty for figures like Han and Boba due to their popularity. Hopefully stores will order several cases at a time.

Hasbro rep said they are making these figures to be easily obtainable

HTS never says a time or date these things go up for sale? How crappy...

Greedo is not an exclusive. EE had exclusive previews but he will be sold alongside the other three in wave 2.

Was getting a 504 Gateway Time-out for about ten minutes. Server wasn't responding. I thought this was it. But no. It finally loaded on my PC, iPad, and phone. Still looking at Twilight Sparkle, Predaking, and Scrabble.... There was a fourth item as of this morning that apparently sold out. *sigh*

The only two I am interested in getting are Han and Boba. Will depend on what they look like when they come out. Doesn't Hasbro stuff tend to look A LOT better in the promo pics?
