I was ready to buy the set too then I heard Boba is being released alone. Plus the same set is getting re-released for international

boba is in wave 2 minus the han in carbonite, no international release it was just available at the Celebration europe event, that already came and went though. there was a rumor that the han in carbonite would be re released next year with a different figure (maybe leia bousch) but thats a risk Im not gunna take lol

I really wish I had been able to attend one of the conventions that sold this set, but with Boba Fett himself coming out for $20, no way I can justify the carbonite block, box, and clear stand costing an additional $130 or more.

$150 for this set is complete and utter frakking bullcrap

I agree, in hindsight it was kind of a bad idea but I can still sleep at night. Im gunna load up on boba's and make some custom mando's, gunna be so awesome, I also want to do a mythos version

Just got the Maul. It's pretty awesome. I don't collect Star Wars stuff at all any more, but Maul looked too good to pass up. Such a great character, and such a bad bad bad bad movie. Ughhh.

Yeah, I was going to pass on Maul, but once I saw him, I was pretty much thinking, 'what the hell?'

Hadn't owned a Maul figure in many years, so it was a nice way to complete a pretty excellent set

LOL same here, I saw him in the store so my first reaction was "I actually see one in hand!" and then saw the incredible detail on the head sculpt and paint and couldn't pass it up.

$20 price sold out on Amazon now for the Maul as we speak, so glad I pulled the trigger.

All I know is the same SDCC boba is on BigBadToyStore as a re-release, just search with "boba carbonite international"

Trust me I was ready to pull the trigger off a $bay listing, researched a bit found the single release on next wave and then this international release.

I do have a problem with the paint of the horns on his head though. they could have given them a little more paint, rather than just a dot.

Turns out they did...2 of each. Now I'm $80 poorer. I hate you all. Don't feel bad though. I hate George Lucas, Target, and Hasbro too. And I hate ebay for the coin I'll probably drop on Boba.

Finally found some in stores, R2D2 only, but with 15% off at TRU. I don't want to fork over $80 at once for these otherwise I'd just do BBTS, but hopefully pick them up piece meal and use coupons for each. Haven't opened R2 yet, but he looks great. Still need to find a place to display these guys... My sdcc Boba is just sitting in the box on my desk all this time.

I was soooooooooo tempted to pick-up Maul. But I really can't due to limited funds. SSC Vader on pre-order and looking for a SSC Sandtrooper.

I might have to stick w/my all-time favorite OT characters. And even that might be an issue. I have to sell most of my 3 3/4 figs.

Thanks... now I feel I have to support it's meaning... so, here I go

Right now, I'm at about 5 Artoos, 5 Lukes, 3 Sandtroopers, & 3 Mauls... plus the Fett exclusive.

I pre-ordered 2 cases... so, 8 of those 17 figures named above aren't literally in my possession... yet. (The lack of patience for these orders is what has prompted me to REALLY go overboard, I'd say).

I also went out of my way to get that "Bespin" Vader statue by that Japanese company that makes stuff in a bit bigger scale. Cost me 60-something bucks and it looks pretty good on display w/the Hasbro stuff... if it "hangs in the back".

If the Bespin Vader statue you are refferring to is the Kotobukiya ArtFX+ Empire Strikes Back Vader... I just pick one up this weekend from local Toysrus who were clearance them out to $25. Its great statue... got me thinking of picking up more from this line (like Boba fett)
