Scaled 6" vehicles? Can't see it. More like power rangers with totally out of scale vehicles

If the figures sell well I can see a 1/12 scaled Landspeeder, Speederbike and maybe even a Tauntaun or Snowspeeder. And I'd get every one of those.

Anything bigger than that and it just isn't logistically and financially viable.

Of course I might well be wrong, but I don't think that's the point of this line.

It seems that it's an answer to the older fans wanting better, more detailed larger figures as a sub set.

Any vehicles etc, are probably never going to be a consideration..

Again, it will depend on sales and volume. The "point" of any line is to make money. So if these explode in popularity and Hasbro sees another potential income stream to exploit (i.e. certain vehicles or other accessories in this scale) then they're going to do it if it's economically viable.

That said, certainly perish the notion of something like the Millennium Falcon or an AT-AT (or even an X-Wing) ever being done at this scale. Just not feasible. But some of the others could be, it just depends on the stength of this new market.

Yes buddy.. I get that. :lol

Look, they may do a smaller vehicle or two at some point - maybe. A Landspeeder as someone earlier mentioned, Speederbike, or a similar scaled item - sure. I'm not entirely disputing that - & I'd LOVE a Landspeeder! :rock
Things like the Falcon or other large items are obviously not ever happening. :lol

The 4" line is well & truly established as a fully realized universe of toys as it is. Investing dollars into a larger line just to repeat what they've done in the smaller scale is a gamble to a degree. Not everyone's gonna dig the larger scale - & vehicles etc call for greater tooling $ outlay.

Food for thought anyway..

Oh yeah, no doubt on the Falcon never happening. Hell, it's never even fully been scaled to 3.75" figures. :lol

But I do really think something like the Landspeeder or Speederbike is a possibility at this scale... if the figures sell through and Hasbro feels there would be enough demand. They also won't be cheap, though. I could see a 1/12 Landspeeder pushing $100-$125. And I'd buy it if it were well done. :monkey1

Other than R2 stuff, an ocassional nostalgic piece, and a few Sideshow and Gentle Giant items I haven't collected "Star Wars" in years. But this line has my attention. I'll be extremely selective, though. Hell, I'm not even getting all 4 of the initial figures announced (staying away from any PT stuff). That said, I'm excited along with everyone else for the possibilities here. :rock

This line will be a great starting point for my son. He won't be playing with figures in the scale his Dad had but honestly if we as kids in '78 had the option of these bigger "He-Man" style figures we'd have been all over them. In addition to getting him the figures to play with I'll be sure to purchase an extra set of Wave 1 to keep MIB for him, just in case.

X-Wing Luke was the first Kenner Luke I ever owned. That's awesome that he is kicking off the line.

Mego then? :huh :lol (I know, they're 8")

I get ya.. :wink1:

A really unexpected reveal this one, I must say - but a very welcome one! I'm just imagining the Droids, Obi-Wan & Luke in a little display in a cabinet - with a Tatooine backdrop behind them, & Ben pointing out Mos Eisley to them. :rock

No LAME poses or CHEESY gimmicks? Just MORE articulation and BETTER sculpting?

I'M IN!:yess:

Now, if they can just make a REGULAR STORMTROOPER comparable to Koto's. That way I can make an affordable version of this:

Hopefully this line does well. I'd love to see more accurate looking vehicles in this scale. I'm sure it'll be quite PRICEY, but I'm GAME!!!!!!:thud:

The price point does not appeal, but I will probably pick a few of my favorite characters up if they are ever produced.

The price is the same as the new He-Man "Classics" 6 inch figures but at least we aren't forced to paying annoying shipping charges.

I'd rather deal with Hasbro's crummy distribution than deal with Matty and Digital River any day.
