Since when has SW figure collecting been about "characters." From the very beginning it's been about random aliens with two seconds of screen time and little to no dialogue. Hammerhead, Walrusman, Sandpeople, Snaggletooth, Fett, Bossk, TIE Fighter pilots, etc.

You're probably right but at least the first figure is still a Luke from ANH.

It is a bit ironic that the lead off character in a brand new line of figures too big for vehicles is a pilot though.

These are very nice, but I cant afford another line of figures. I'll probably have to stick to characters from SW and then Fett from TESB.
