I don't know if he is actually out, but he is already in the computer, so at the very least in the inventory system.

Yeah, it may take a while for retailers to start getting inventory in warehouses/stores. I remember that he got all of the INDY stuff from Hasbro about 2-3 weeks before they starting hitting retailers.

I'd say by the end of July he'll be showing up everywhere.

Ok, hunt on hold, but glad to know he's almost here, been looking forward to this guy for awhile.

Yeah, me too. Now if they would give us a Sail Barge or bigger Skiff, I'll really be happy. Not holding my breath for either though.

That'd probably be the biggest vehicle Hasbro ever made, bravo if they do it, but seems like a big undertaking for a vehicle that may not be that popular enough to sell well. If they do it though, I'd be game, it'd be a nice way to display all my Jabba related figures.

Actually, Jabba's Sail Barge has been rumored to be the big vehicle for 2011 or 2012.

Yeah, I have heard that too, but I'm still not going to get too excited yet. Hopefully the AT-AT will sell well enough to justify more large vehicles. Though, to be honest, if I were Hasbro I would be doing the Sail Barge for 2013.

I think the new, bigger Slave I is up first... but I would not be surprised if the Sail Barge was mentioned by Hasbro at either SDCC or CV. Stay tuned...

And damn Hasbro for bringing me back in with these:

A case of those hit my local TRU Friday. I'm in the middle of moving, so I missed them. I'm actually excited to see the second wave of those, the ROTS. Should be neat to see the newer characters on the vintage styled cards. I know some are not too happy about it, but it's kinda cool to me. And I wish that they would do the POTF 85 cards too. That would be awesome.

I hope these Vintage Collection figures aren't too much of a pain to track down. I may be collecting 3.75" again for the first time in years just for these... but I still no longer have the time or patience for "the hunt".

As far as non-vintage figures on vintage style cards... I think that's kinda neat myself. And even in the first wave both Dak and Han Solo - Echo Base are on vintage style cards that never existed before.

Should know by SDCC. I'm sure that the second wave will be shown there. And I think that the third wave is Jedi so hopefully we will see some of those too.

I'm very curious to see how the prequel "vintage" cardbacks will look.

They'll be in the exact same style, of course... with the TPM, AOTC, and ROTS title logos aping those of the vintage SW, TESB, and ROTJ ones.

Right, but when the prequels came out we all know they emphasized the "Episode I/II/II" over the actual title on all the posters and merchandise. I wonder if the new "vintage" figures will follow suit with "The Phantom Menace," etc., being emphasized in the tradition of the OT episode titles.

Yes, they will.

Well, our local TRU put some new stuff out...but all that was left was some CW and Legends stuff on the new card...but it's the same old figures on the cards that are still here warming pegs....insane.

They only had the Cloud Car pilot and Threepio left on the "new" vintage cards. They look good, but at nearly $9.00 a piece, well...I'll be going for a few characters/figures that have never been done before but otherwise, they're a little rich for my blood...

Pretty much all action figures are pretty pricey these days, everything keeps going up, but I remember the days you could get 4-5 figures for like $20 bucks.
