Hasbro appreciation thread.

Word is here in Ontario, we are getting the AT-AT here in the next couple days, i am on the fence about getting it though.

I made a error about the Vintage cards having the boba offer printed on the card, they are just stickers and the walmart shipments around here did not have them on the cards or the form in the bubble.

BTW, the stickers are made so that they can be removed without damaging the card. Kudos to Hasbro for that.

I got an AT-AT at Target yesterday. Just opened it up and took all the parts out of the box and put them all in front of me and step one in the instructions is to attach the guns on either side of the AT-AT head. I attach one and then go to attach the other gun, and wait a minute, its exactly like the first one. The damn box has two right side guns and no left side gun! In fact, I tried sticking a right side gun in the hole on the left of the head (even though it would be upside down) and it doesn't fit. They smartly made it where the right hole is bigger than the left hole so that you put the right and left guns in the correct holes. Then they stupidly put 2 right hand guns in the box! So now I have to figure out how to shove all the pieces back into the box (which had everything in there very tightly packed). There are a bunch of cardboard dividers in there that I pulled out. So now I have to put all the pieces and all the cardboard in the box and then lug the whole damn thing back to Target, stand in the customer service line and get my money back (this was the last one at that store). I hope this isn't a widespread problem.

Don't be afraid to ask an employee if you don't see it (especially if it looks like they haven't reset their toy section yet). Tell them to type the UPC number (65356950285) into their computers to check the stock.

Thanks, but I've given up on the days of "Hunting for Hasbro"-- If I see something I want I get it (especially if it's an upgrade for a pre-existing character) and I'll actively look for something if I hear it's coming out (like the Jabba) but going the whole nine yards?... Nah, I'll reserve that intensity for SSC.

I've got to go over to get gas and pick up some stuff at Wal-Mart that my wife ordered for our daughters' bedroom... As far as the other country, I can see the states from my upstairs window and it's literally one community here... No big whoop. But thanks for the UPC #... They're pretty good at putting things out when they arrive.--

Contact Hasbro, they should be able to send you one. They are pretty good about that kind of thing.

scored a couple of vintage figs today...........wanted a veers for my eventual at-at, bespin luke, c3po, vader, boba fett, & cloud car pilot (really just because i want the mail away boba). also picked up the snow speeder.

saw the at-at & cloud car but passed for now.........hoping my w/m's will have jabba out this weekend.

Finally found Boba Fett(non Boba sticker version) at Walmart tonight and also grabbed Pre Vizla, Pre is my favorite Mandalorian figure yet.

Contact Hasbro, they should be able to send you one. They are pretty good about that kind of thing.

I'm sure Hasbro is good at stuff like that but I just put it back in the box and took it back to Target. They credited my credit card. I found 3 of them at Toys R Us today and got one. Its now put together and it looks great. Appropriate right and left guns were in this box.

AAAAND scored an AT-AT at TRU tonight. Said I was gonna wait for the Vintage Packing but i just couldn't do it. It was there, and so beautiful. So now pics will be coming eventually

I am hearing some really messed up stories about TVC being sold here in Ontario. First all the TVC figures released at TRU here, have a error on the Boba sticker(reads Bobba) and also Walmart stock not having any Boba sticker or redemption offer in the bubble but, having a UPC sticker on the back of the cards. I am hearing now that collectors are taking this UPC sticker off these figures they bought and slapping them on their old Phantom Menace carded figures and returning them to Walmart.
