What a crazy thing to reissue. Who knew those molds were still around. Besides, those were Kenner toys, well before Hasbro bought them. I thought most Kenner stuff was lost to time.

I actually don't have any GB figures. I passed on all the Mattel, Diamond Select, Mezcos, and all other expensive versions.

Maybe I should go ahead and get the main four this time.

Interesting. It all can be found on ebay. Hopefully, they can do the same with the ecto 1.

The firehouse is probably unlikely. I have the original, but a brand new one would be great.

Do you know how expensive that would be for all the figures in that photo? There's no way that would be profitable. There's a reason why certain Transformers are reissued over and over and others have never been reissued once. The steel molds are ridiculously expensive.

If Hasbro really is reissuing the Kenner figures, they must have somehow come across the molds. None of the figures share any parts, either. If they were doing them from scratch, I think they'd re-use a single body for all four. I'd be absolutely shocked if they took the time to tool up molds for all those parts.

Me too i’ve passed on all Ghostbusters figures even if I love the movie but for a small budget, 70$, eaglemoss launched a collector box of 4 little statues (1/16). It’s pretty cool and in the mood of the movie.

So, the Plasma Series 1 comes with BAF parts for 1 Terror Dog? I'm assuming Plasma Series 2 will be Marshmallow'd Busters with Tully and Peck and more Terror Dog parts?

I've got my 1/6 scale Busters on display at home, these might be nice to display at the office. Toys are a classy way to dress up the workspace, no?

Plasma Series 2 will be Marshmallow'd Busters with Tully and Peck and more Terror Dog parts?

I'd say Street clothes version of the 4 heroes. Tully's a definitely. But I'd say Slimer before Peck. With a whole food cart.

Hopefully they'll release a classic Neutrino Wand aswell as the Afterlife Spengler one. Still a tad miffed I missed out on the Matty one.

Those Real Ghostbuster cartoon figures with the holky Kenner accessories are probably made to stay in the package for collectors

I mean the articulation is dismal at best and the gadgets are childlike..do we really think somebody is going to take these out and display them

I'm sure some people will buy two, one to keep in the box and one to display. Some will buy more to sell on ebay.

The only thing I noticed that will bother some people, is that the hose is not coming from the bottom of the proton pack like the first original wave, before kenner changed it in wave 2.

That is interesting..maybe they lost the original mold of the accessories from Kenner

This is where having a lack of TRU in the states could hurt the line

I don’t see Target or Walmart making a huge section for this line in the stores. The problem with Target and Walmart they cram a lot of different figure franchises all in one section

The spacing is horrendous in some areas near me

I'm ticked because I wanted the Real GB Figures precisely to display mint on card, and that's all been pretty much flushed by having them Wal-Mart exclusives. I've got no chance getting anything online shipped to me in good condition, and trying to get them in store... Ugh. I think I may just forget the whole thing. Sorry, Hasbro. Don't put collector items in Walmart (Which - really - should I even have to say?).

With how good the likenesses are on some of their new Star Wars Black Series figures I was hoping for a little better on their Ghostbusters.
