HBO - Rome

I do not know what to do... Tonight 24 season 6 begins at the same time as Rome and it is bowling night...

I want to watch 24 but I HATE missing bowling...


I guess I should go bowling... TIVO 24.... and watch Rome on ON DEMAND later this week...

I also love bowling, choices, choices. 24 is great, watched the first 4 about a week ago. HBO On demand stuff is usually on in 2 days. I would go bowling.

I get chills everytime I see the season 2 preview.... I will defiantely be glued to my TV tomorrow... I am just sad that this is the last season - HBO thinks its too expensive to make.

Ya, it will be sad to say goodbye to Rome but I would rather the series be wrapped up nicely rather than it being flat out cancelled like Carnivale and Deadwood. (I know we are getting 2 Deadwood movies but I would rather have a 4th season)

I'm a big fan of Pullo. The fight scene in the arena against the gladiators was insane! I loved it!

Did anyone catch the season 2 premire??? I loved this episode just as much as the last two episodes of season 1... Vorenus's (sp?) family sure fell apart over night... and I love Ocatvions character. I will miss the actor when they change him out for an older Octavion later in the season.

I'm almost done with season 1, great show.

I also bought 'Empire' a mini series, I never heard of it but it was $10.00 and thought it was good, but I went in thinking it would suck, so that makes a difference sometmes.

We need SS to make a 'Ancient Warriors' line. 1/6 poly, Ceaser on Steed would be great. Need to add this to the New License thread.

I just watched last Sunday's episode "Death Mask"...

HOLY CRAP!! This is such a rad show.

Only 3 episodes left in the SERIES!! I want the show to go on forever but I think they have done a wonderful job telling a large portion of Rome's history over 22 episodes.


SPOILERS!!!!

This week was crazy... Octavia married M. Anthony, Servillia went out with a bang, Vorenus's head prostitute is going to kill Titus's baby, and Vorenus's daughter is being tricked into betraying her father (even though she would have done it willingly) I can't wait for the final 3 episodes.

1) It ends on Sunday.

2) The pacing was WAYYYYYYY to fast on the different story threads.

Rome was one of the best shows on television. Great acting, great character drama and writing. Produced by John Milius. I can't believe it's over. That's just wrong.
