Pretty sure that both are forged by Dragon's fire and that's what matters. Either way, I can't wait to see those Dragons lay waste to that army. But knowing Martin, everyone will probably just die and the White Walkers will win. :lol

Its is called The Song of Fire and Ice for a reason...but you're probably right. :lol

Have enjoyed the entire season but these last two have been on point.

So is the finale of this show all of westeros United with Danny's dragon vs the walker army?

That episode was better than the last 4 seasons combined. :lol

Seriously though, I thought they were just gonna tease it, ending the episode with the avalanche of snow signaling doom. Then all hell broke loose and GOT turned into 28 Days Later! It's about time too. For a minute I was thinking these things should be called "White Slow-Pokes" instead because the fat guy with the derpy chick saw them marching way back when but still had time to be saved by the other crows, get back to their fort, and do all kinds of other stuff and STILL no White Walkers/Army of the Dead. Were they taking the scenic route!?

Sunday night's episode was better than all nine some odd hours of The Hobbit trilogy, extended cut or not. Jesus. What an episode. The scenes with Dany and Tyrion were great and I'm so glad that Cersei is getting hers but once we switched to Hardhome and I saw all those ships in the bay, I was like, perfect place for the Night's King to spring his trap on the Wildings. and HOLY ****! That was like Helm's Deep all over again. Perfect and I mean, perfect episode. And Valyrian steel RULES! Now, somebody's going to have to go into the ruins of Valyria, take on the Stone Men and start trying to find more or make more cause that's going to be instrumental in taking on these *******s, dragons or not. Hopefully, the dragons will make that all but unnecessary. Hopefully.

Since fire only works on the dead (that white walker strolled right through it) they'll need the steel.

Only three swords in Westeros forged from it, right? Longclaw, Oathkeeper, and Joffrey's baby sword?

Isn't the iron Throne made from Valyrian steel? Can see it being Melted down or dismantled to help turn the tide of the battle with the walkers.

awesome episode, you can now see, or at least I believe where this story is going to end up. With how dominating the white walkers are and the need for the dragons and the steel to beat them. Eventually all will have to join forces and fight along side each other to defeat them. With Tyrion now at Dany's side as an advisor it will enable her to see what needs to be done down the road. Now to get the others on side is the big problem, hope Ramseys get wiped out first though....lol

I just read something that I am not sure is true. Any die hard GoT fans know whether it is true that the Night King is
the 13th Commander of the Night's Watch (Jon Snow is the 998th) who fell in love with an ice woman?

Kind of makes that final scene even cooler.

Also the fact that Reese admitted to Sansa that he in fact didn't kill her brothers leads me to believe that he will have a part to play in the demise of the Ramseys or at least the assistance of her escape..

Plus the dagger used to kill Bran in season one.

From the books, there are more, just not mentioned. Sam's dad has one for sure.
But since it's the show ... and they've totally deviated from the books then I suppose there are only three.
