So much of the story was built around him. Along with Danearys and, to a lesser extent, Tyrion, he's one of the primary characters from the get-go that you assumed was going to be followed over the course of the series. . .having said that, Ned also felt that way throughout season 1 :lol

Well, Jon is the only one of the characters mentioned who has a witch in his area. As far as we know, there are only 2 people even capable of bringing back a freshly killed person correct?

Melasandra and who else? The night king? That God that brought back that one dude no matter how many times he died? Can Arya's current master do anything like that that we know of?

The Lord of Light (R'hllor or whatever) is who Melisandre worships. Same Lord of Light that Thoros of Myr worships, which allowed him to resurrect Beric Dondarrion 6-7 times.

Melisandre happens to be in the very same location as one of the top 3 most popular/important characters, right as he dies. This same dead character's face was the season 6 poster.

it just doesnt pay to get invested any more lol. Jons story was very primary i felt so i didnt understand why he died and i think after seeing his body in one of the new clips with ser davos there means hes being brought back. its not like he got his head cut off, sorry ned

Jon is most certianly dead but he is not going to remain that way. This is just speculation but since a nightwatcb duty is for life Jon has fulfilled that obligation and may come back as a Stark and not a Snow.

Well I doubt he can come back as a Stark now, Stannis is not going to take the iron throne therefore he won't officially make Jon a Stark and there's no way that Tommen is going to.

if you've been following any theories that have weight, it's likely the wrong family anyway

I have been re watching season 5 I cant wait for this to start again I feel like the wait in between seasons is so long.

The show runners just said they think this show could be wrapped up in 13 more episodes after season 6 and have season 7 have 7 episodes and season 8 have 6. I wish they would then just do one longer season and not make us wait a year for 6 episodes.

As much as I'd be happy the show doesn't stretch for too long and sticks to an original vision, it's scary to think that we might be so close to the end.

I hope it does a Spartacus and doesn't outstay its welcome. That show had only 4 seasons and ended on a high. So if they're saying they have a definitive end-point in mind I think that's a good thing.
