Aria's upper hand came from the waterdancing sword training - she let the waif to where Needle was hidden - and she made the waif fight blind in a room she's never been in. Aria had the whole space committed to memory.

I never understood the waif's bitchiness toward Aria, but it was even funnier when she went full T-1000 while chasing her.

My biggest problem with Arya's scene was that it seemed too overt, I always thought the deal with The Faceless Men was that they were subtle, blended into the crowd, did their deeds and then disappeared. Having a chase through the streets seemed far too high profile.

I think there was one training sequence where blind Arya got the upper hand on the waif. But then, it seems like she got her *** kicked again inexplicably the next time and from then on, so. . . :lol

I enjoyed T-1000 waif running around, though.

Just watched it. So ehhhh...what the ****? How was Arya suddenly able to beat the other girl? And after reopening her stomach wound and damn near breaking her own legs in her effort to run away. You don't set up a desperate situation like that and not show how the hell she got out of it. Did I blink at the wrong time or something?

Probs best not to overthink the whole Arya thing. The whole story was a mess from the moment that story started. I don't know if that story has finished in the books but I was glad it was over. Hopefully the writers have something good planned for her for season 7.

After going through all that with no logical payoff, my preference for her to go out like one character from the Wire,
Omar. Probably the biggest bad-*** in the whole show, who gets shot by some random kid when he's not paying attention.

^^ Yea, that was a ****** death. ^^

The whole Blackfish thing seemed like a waste of time to me.

T-1000 :lol

I guess the rumor would be wildfire? But I would have thought they used it all during Stanis's attack.

Still entertained by ep 8. Really agree with many of the post that touch on the writing short comings....I would have loved to have one of the theory's to be true about why arya got shanked....

So Arya's story for this season is complete as will be Jon's and much of the North's by the end of episode 9. That leaves episode 10 to focus on Danny, King's Landing, the Hound, Bran maybe and any loose ends from episode 9.

I believe Aerys placed wildifre throughout the city. Tyrion only used what he found in one store room

I'm wondering if maybe Cersie uses wildfire strapped to The Mountain and has him March into the church to blow it up along with the High Sparrow.

Too much like a suicide bomber...

Most likely there are stores of wildfire hidden underneath Kings Landing, to include the Great Sept of Balor.

I assume Aria is on a boat on her way home. She can stay there for the rest of the season, I don't need to see her until she's useful

All we need in episode 10 is to see is a quick scene of her on a boat heading West. Nothing else is needed this season in regards to her story.

The one thing that I liked in Arya's story was seeing how people outside Westeros view Cersei due to the play. To them, she's the sympathetic character in the story that's suffered through tragedy after tragedy at the hands of others. :lol

And yet despite how much of a bad person she is I still want to see her get one over on the High Sparrow and unleash the Mountain on them all. :lol
