Honestly couldn't tell you, Hot Toys is still doing hand crafting for their molds as far as I know.

But with Iron Whiplash there was photos of the prototype and behind it was a render of the build on the computer.

Maybe it's slowly catching steam now. I couldn't speak for the rest of the HCG line but I know they have been doing renders as far back as Nemesis since the teasers were in render form.
