HCG : Resident Evil Collectibles

I see, I am new to collecting statues and the Resident evil line is the first statues I am collecting. Does anyone else have the licker diorama? I think darkhumor would back me up in saying that it is a really great piece by HCG.

The Licker and Executioner are pretty flawless. The only thing that lets them down is the title "1:6" because they are both underscaled (Executioner very much so)

Id have a Licker diorama by now if it would look in-scale with my other 1:6 figures

I love the details on Licker but most of the hard work is done on the diorama wall piece, which I find spectacular. That added extra effect makes the Licker stand out better than just if it was standing alone on a base. The paint job is superb. You can take a picture with any camera phone and it'll look like a computer generated photo and not an actual sculpt. I actual find myself looking through all the details on the diorama wall piece because I'm amazed at such detail from front to back. Looking from the outside in and the inside out of the window, etc.

Quite honestly, thats probably the only Licker youre going to get made that flawless, unless you get somebody to make a commission piece. Why not get the piece anyways if it is under scaled?

Nemesis broke my rule of thumb that I wouldnt get anything that was over 1:6 scale, because I only collected 1:6th scale statues. Nemesis was my favorite character in RE3. I wanted him, so I got him, because when are they ever going to make a Nemesis again?

Ill have one display w/1:6th scale and another w/1:4 scale. I mean if you found a piece that you wanted that bad thats out of scale and you thought it was as accurate and as close as how you like it to look and you knew nobody else is going to make it, I would think you'd get it.

How do you know? Do you own any of the RE statue line? These statues are made to stay in scale with their line, not other companies. The Licker would be the correct size next to Jill, Chris, Nemesis and future RE characters, for the video game line.

The locker might go with the stairs like Chris and Jill, maybe as well a 1:6 figure. Then you have the Executioner Majini with is too small for either a 1:6 figure or the Alice statue or the Jill and Chris one then you have the nemesis statue which basically is a dinosaur compare to the rest of the HCG line.

That's my reason too, among other things. Why the drastic differences in scale?

My entire collection bar 1 1:1 item are 1:6 figures. Its not like i have a few here and there of random scale. Ive got a couple of $k worth of RE 1:6 figures ive been amassing for the last year or so and i wouldnt like to get an Awesome Licker statue and put it off in the corner of my room somewhere because i dont feel i could display them together. On the other hand, i would make an Exception for the 1:4 Nemesis statue because if i was to have a stand alone statue, he is big and he is Nemesis. He may even be my Christmas present to myself.

I just cant get past the 1:7 licker and i think its an awesome piece. If one came up CHEAP i would get it. But at the moment they are few and far between and wayyyy too high a price for me to be willing to pay to get over my size'ism

I bought the Ninja Alice statue. The prototype pic looks funky but the one I got looks wayyyy better. She looks good. I can put some pics up when I find out how.

I got her a few days ago. Getting a replacement for her because her sheath got busted off her back in the mail. So I super glued it for now. I like her a lot. I hope they make her in her Umbrella suit from RE Retribution. I want a Jill statue from Retribution now too.
