What? I have no interest in Joker busts that's why i am in a HCG Resident Evil thread.
Same company same paint apps lol
I know HCG has some crappy pieces. And I admit that, Ill even point them out for you. But the Resident Evil line is far far away from those hideous pieces. You cant compare them to that. You know when a piece is bad with that company.

But all Im asking you, besides that "you think it's crappy" to give more of an explanation on why she looks the way you think she does. Whats wrong with the paint app that you dont like? Is the accuracy bad? What?
She looks to pale to me no shading no detail just looks to clean and my biggest thing it doesn't look like Jill .

Yeah.. you cant please everyone. But she's the closest thing to getting a statue made which Im fine with the way she looks. I did expect her to look like her RE3 character design but they went with her later design instead. Was that what you were looking for? The RE3 Jill? The clothes on the other hand has always been the same look that she has had, aside from the uniform.
I forgot to post these. With "constructive" and civil criticism. Im really liking the paint blend and shading they did with her. I mean there really isnt that much detail to look at because that's what she wears. The monsters are the true lookers and are to be admired for their details.

Nice pics the sculpter of Jill said capcom was very strict about the sculpt Or so I heard .
Yeah I heard the same thing. Like Capcom was always looking over his shoulder to some degree.

These are good pics I'm a big Jill fan made customs of character tried to commission a Julia voth head that want south but the hgc head im just not a fan of.

The actress used for Jill valentine
Its like trying to incorporate the actresses facial features 100% into the video game character design. It just isnt there. You can say the same thing about the game character design being translated over to the statue version. They got the eyes right on the statue from the actress, where as the eyes on the game character doesnt look anything like the actresses eyes.
They incorporated the fat nose from the game character to the statue (something the actress clearly doesnt have), but did not elongate the duck lips on the statue from the game character. (another feature the actress does not have.) As far as the skin tone "being too pale" on the statue, (unless my eyes are deceiving me) the actress looks to be already pale in comparison, as well as the game design. Yes, it's not exactly looking like the game characters face, nor exactly like the actresses face, but it's got a blend of both.
I'm not going to go into it any further than what it is. They do keep changing up the game characters facial features with every sequel, seemingly. So there isnt really a definitive Jill character design and its basically left open to an individuals interpretation or preference.
EDIT: Nermind. Just google imaged Julia Voth. She does have a big nose in reality. She's frikken hot though. lmfao!!

Jill is one of the characters That always has slight differences in every game she is in from RE1 to RE3 to RE5 to ORC so I can see how difficult it must be for HCG and remember Capcom has to approve of the sculpts before they go into production.
Side note I was looking into that sideshow Hulk doing the peoples eyebrow and I would not be happy if I was a customer receiving that when the proto had both eyebrows down.
What HCG shows you is what you get from HCG at least that's what I've got anyway.
