It's so hard to tell with these dark pics. It could be a slight difference in the camera angle. He appears to be tilted forward but the base seems to be at the same perspective.
Man, they couldn't even be bothered futzing the his coat on the prod pic. Take 5 minutes, Sideshow. We'll wait! :lol

Well....

I was comparing the prototype and production photos and there is a difference. It seems to me that they moved the hand of doom arm to the left a bit therefore lowering his body a bit. I liked the fact he seemed a bit more straight but I always thought that his arm was a little too long but now it seems more proportional.

What do you guys think????

Actually he looks better in the new photos. But the quality of the photos seems to be lacking from the original set.

oh no... his hand of doom looks so puny now. i like the more straight body pose of the proto.

The Hand of Doom is the same size.

1. It's the angle the pic is taken.

2. The clothes in the newer set of pics are clearly covering 15 percent of the HoD, were as in the original pics there is no clothing covering the HoD. Fooling the occasional observer into thinking it is in fact smaller. It's just how the jacket is sitting on the HB II PF.

A nerd explanation brought to you by Dorks Amongst Us. *snort*

Hand of doom is the same size and the clothes are sitting differently, but he's definitely leaning a bit more. I even compared with the 360 and photos from SSCC. I have no problem with it, but he is different...

That's true he is definitely leaning more and there is obviously a difference. I just hope someone takes in hand photos soon so we can see once and for all.

If anything the pose looks a little more dynamic in the production piece photo. Going from these pics alone the only thing I prefer about the original is the look of the coat material. The new one reminds me of the Graphitti Designs HB action figure coat, if anybody still has that fossil! :lol

actualy it looks better for me !, to bad i dont have de excl but the reg....

Its all down to tasts i suppose, but i think his original pose looks more natural...
Definitely, more than ever want to see in hand pics. Still looks awesome, with some futzing on the coat, but just getting the faintest whiff of disappointment with his lean...

Edit: On second thoughts, the production piece looks pretty sweet too...BRING IT ON

production vs. blah...he looks great in either picture. If he's purple, then we got a problem. :)

I can't wait for this!!!
Originally I thought I had it ordered, I even bought a HB II miniposter to frame up behind him. Then after they where "shipping in 30 days" I found that somehow my order was never completed...doh..lol
So, I hopped on the WL and it converted the other day! SOO happy that came through!
As for the production pics...I'm happy they corrected the pose. The proto made his arm look too long. The paint is a little bright but, that's probably just the lighting in the photos.
My biggest concern is that the rosary and skulls aren't on his belt in the production pics. Although, the skulls are there in the 360. For $350 I want him to be 100%. I'll ask for a small refund if they aren't on mine. It might be hard to find or make a 1/4 rosary, though.:(

I always liked the pose on this one - and it seems the small tweaks just made him that much better, can't wait to get mine. Should get my shipping notice anyday now -

now, what to pose him with Samaritan or Big Baby !?!

Dammit where is my Hellboy? It was suppose to be here today. Stupid UPS.
