I don't know how this even made it, this looks worst than the Scifi Channel movies they play,
this has like a Soap Opera quality to it..... seriously, doesn't even feel like a direct to video movie, but like a really bad soap opera...

They've all been pretty low rent since Bloodline, although at least Inferno and Hellseeker tried to be decent additons.

Here's what you get with an endless parade of sequels and re-makes. It looks like it was filmed at a Haunted House attraction with a camcorder. Pinhead looks and sounds like a constipated gnome.

Although some of Pinhead's best on-liners have come out of Hell on Earth. The rest of the films I could do without.

If Bloodline hadn't run out of money and time it could have been great. It is a mess of a film, since it is missing scenes and is badly edited to the point the director disowned it, but I think it is the 3rd best one - and that says alot! The rest have no redeeming qualities at all.

Pinhead looks fat in the new one, it looks like a film school halloween adaptation, no interest at all. I am going to meet doug Bradley tomorrow however, and plan to get him to sign a nice Pinhead photo for me to put on display with the pf when it finally happens.

The funny thing to me about this new one is DB talking about how bad and why he isnt in it. Really, the last handfull looked good to him? Sounds like someone wasnt really asked to be in it and is upset. (read one interview where he said he turned it down, dont know if true or not)

Either way it doesn't really matter. The guy is Pinhead, just as much as Kevin Conroy is the voice of Batman and Robert Englund is Freddy Krueger. Three generations will have to die out before they can try any different without us raging about it. NERD RAGE!!!!

Disagree with that. If it was a better actor in a better production, I'm certain while it would be a bit painful, he would be accepted much as Mears was taking over for Jason and Bryniarski as Leatherface (best one since Hansen IMHO). It's also why the Nightmare remake failed miserably among NOES fans.

And I have to disagree with that, Mears wasn't really accepted though because Hodder had already been replaced once and we knew they wouldn't bring him back so we just took what they gave us.

Bryniarski was accepted because the film was good and let's be honest, they changed Leather Faces so often no one got used to any one person being under the mask.

And finally I don't blame Jackie Earl Haley for the Nightmare Remake, he might have been a good Freddy but really, after 7 NOES and a Freddy vs Jason with Englund and the fact that they screwed the pooch on Freddy's origin, he had no chance with the fans.

So really to replace Bradley as Pinhead and have the fans okay they had better come up with some early footage that looks astounding because you're basically killing a horror icon.
