Hmmm they have on season in the Pacific Northwest rain. It does rain as much as people say, they have something like 60 staright days of rain , with a few days off then more rain. I travel there quite a bit and I have been there once with out rain.

Yeah, it sucks here in Seattle.. you don't want to come here. :D

When I traveled the USA last summer the places I enjoyed the most were the Pacific Northwest and The Bay Area. You have the big cities which I loved but the amazing backcountry and coastline is also all within reach :)

i used to think the same thing about Seattle (it doesn't rain THAT much)... don't get me wrong, i LOVE Seattle, but after spending a few years in Los Angeles, i get why people say that... same with Vancouver... LOVE IT... but those cities come with rain year round.

The one thing I hate about Los Angeles is no rain. I'd love to move to Seattle or Portland - maybe when I get older.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence Dave. Having just come home to the UK from my annual home visit to LA, I have to say the grass really is greener here. Cos it never bloody stops raining!!!
