Help Rocky, The 3-Legged Boxer Dog

I know this really isn't a site for fundraising (nor is this a very convenient time for such a thing) but, screw it... I love this little dude, every bit counts, and I'm going to do whatever I can:

My dog Rocky (a 55 lb Boxer and the friendliest dude on Earth) will require shoulder joint surgery ASAP or will likely lose his other front leg. I say "other" because he's already missing his left front leg. I rescued him like that from a shelter about a year and a half ago. He gets around just fine on his 3 legs. Runs, goes up/down stairs, etc. He is completely handi-capable. However, if he were to lose the other front leg I have no idea how (or if) he will manage. So I am going to do everything I can to scratch and claw for the remaining funds necessary (almost $6,000) to do this for him. Thanks so much for any help!

Just dropped in $10.00 mate , I'd give more if I could. I lost my cat I'd had for 20 years a few months back and it sucks to see your pet in pain and with problems. Good luck , I hope you can go ahead with the surgery and everything turns out successful.

Isn't it crazy (the cost)??? The medical costs for my first 2 kids were literally cheaper than what this will cost.

my old roomate had a boxer with one back leg named trip (short for tripod). that sucker could scoot too. you would never guess he was 3 legged by the way he got around.

When I get paid next week Ill be sure to drop a little bit! I love dogs so anything to help one out I am all for it. My little chihuahua had to have leg surgery a little while back when he was 1 and it was not cheap, but like others have said I would do it in a heartbeat again if it came down to it.
