His arms are too long

Long arms or not looking at these pics is making it more difficult to cancel this to get the bust...but its gotta be one or the other...

Another problem with the SDCC pic is that Yoda appears to be staring off into space (and with a slight lazy eye, at that), while in the Sideshow proto pic he looks much more like he is looking at Luke.

This was brought up over at SF... In the photos from SDCC, did anyone notice how long Yoda's right arm is compared to the SSC pics? It looks like he's trying to cop a feel. The position of his left hand is different too.

Sorry if this has been brought up before. There are a lot of SDCC threads.

I'm usually pretty lax on minor details and such but this is a piece that was at the top of my list and I want it to be perfect, especially for $350. This is a very obvious problem that really needs to be addressed. His right arm is WAY too long and his fingers on that hand are almost human length. I really hope SS catches and corrects this glaring problem because this could really be a deal breaker.

What are these artists using as references? All they had to do was take 5 minutes to watch the scene on DVD to realize that the hands need to be on the shoulders--not the front of his chest. Besides, like others have mentioned, it is quite obvious, even to a lay person, that his arms are way out of proportion.

I guess I'm just trying to understand the reason behind the long arms. These artists are obviously very talented. Just look at the amazing detail they put into these sculptures! So, with such keen eyes, why...

Could it be something as simple as him not being put together correctly at SDCC? Maybe his right arm isn't attached properly or maybe it's broken and no one noticed it. I looked at a lot of Luke/Yoda pics that were posted and didn't notice his arm until Gruson mentioned it. There was only a few thousand people who saw it in person, I wonder how many of them noticed.

I never heard anyone mention it.

If this problem isn't corrected, then I'm not buying this piece. This would be the 1st Star Wars PF that I've passed on.

I've already got the PF Luke, and I want the Yoda 1:1, so this would be the easiest SW PF yet to let go.

weird thing is that they did that for Medicom too on the 12inch figure of him and I think the sideshow one.
maybe he does have long arms?
lol

oh and I doubt they'll correct it.
they'd have to redo the whole arm sculpt...and waste another $2000 or so paying the sculptor and then remaking the molds and stuff. eh....
or maybe they already have and those were old prototype pics haha

and thats a pretty creepy pose...
yoda, that pedophile hahaha
