Thats strange Therivox, best thing to do is to give them a call and not send another email incase you have to wait even longer. If you speak to someone at least you can get a case opened...Once they have established that you have a case they will then reach a conclusion within 5-7 working days and then if a replacement is required it will take a futher 7-10 working days for it to be shipped. Hope you get it sorted pal :hi5:

Here are some pics I took last night...really happy with how SS turned out after a really bendy board. You can see how straight I have managed to get it. Initially I tried the hair dryer technique which worked but still had the tiniest of bends at the tip of the board. So this time I used the hot water / cold water method and it worked a treat, although you have to be careful how long you leave it in the hot water before it becomes manageable so that you can determine how straight you want it - then immediately run it under the cold tap to make sure that the board maintains its new shape.

This is how bendy the board was when recieved..

And this is now...

Think next I will try to repaint the SS to look a little more chrome looking

I don't frigging believe my luck! The chest light has just started flickering. :gah: Looks like a full replacement now. :(

Serious?! :slap
What if that happens after 28 days :dunno
Light up features look cool but too easy to eff up.

:exactly:

I'm going to ask them that question when they email me. It was fine last night but it's flickering like mad now. I've checked the plug and contacts and nothing has changed. The eyes and base aren't doing it so it has to be the chest bulb. :slap

If it's an LED it'll be a lose connection which could be a bugger to find.

Yeah and there is no way to get to it anyway. I just hope the new one is ok? I'm going to ask them to check before sending it. It's a real pain with customs when they can't charge you they try holding the package. :(

I know this sounds dumb, but you think SSC would make these LEDs easy to change... It would be to their advantage to simple send out a bulb or replacement pack... Rather then an ENTIRE $800 statue.

You got a relacement and they told me last week they don't have a replacement for me. I will be returning mine for a refund.

Mine had a fingerprint in the paint on the head. Wished the head was detachable.
