Damn just heard back from SS. They no longer have anymore replacements. was given 4 options 100 credit, 90 buck refund back to CC, refund or exchange. i'm gonna call in tomorrow and find out more about that exchange option.

Really pissed off because they said they tested it before they shipped it but there is no note indicating it was opened and the chest is clearly dead because i've done everything, clean contact points and shook it around abit in the hole and not even a flicker.

:horror cant believe there are no more replacements being offered...not sure what they meant regarding an exchange? Does that mean you send yours back for a new one? Wouldnt that be the same thing as offering a replacement? :dunno

Sadly miss read the email and because they're no longer anymore replacements they cannot exchange it. so i'll sadly having to return him for a refund. There is no way i can fix the chest light not working and the 100 credit pretty insulting.

But i will be getting a refund on my money and reward points and i will order this again sometime in the future.

I contacted SS about the excess glue all over his boots and was told no more replacements either. When I asked how that could be considering it is an open edition and still in stock, I was told that replacement stock is separate from sellable stock and there is no more replacement stock. I could return mine and then reorder another one, but after thinking about it, I have decided just to return mine for a full refund. While I think he looks great, there is just no room for him in my collection, so bye-bye Galactus. :wave

Really terrible tho, I never did ask them for a full replacement and I told them ship me the replacement and if I deem it satisfactory I'd smash what is defected but ohh no no they insisted I smash it or they wouldn't send the replacement.

Just a stupid policy and now I have to go through fedex to get that money. Does sideshow know what hoops that international collectors go through with customs?

This was pretty much my job after ordering SS pieces a few years ago. The majority all went back for refunds. Then it was nothing but filling out paper work to get that money back which took months. Finally I gave up and stopped ordering anything from SS for about a year. Since then I buy the odd 1-2 pieces a year now, but no where near what I use to spend with them....and believe me...it was a lot.

That sucks to hear that yours had issues. Its always hard to be a collector outside of the U.S with so many extra fees and costs.

I will have to pay $160 to for postage, so i cant afford to get a defective piece

But anyways for the people who ordered a d return the galactus. I would wait for the new batches to arrive to lower the risk of getting a refurbish one or just to wait for this original batch to sell out first. Who knows, maybe the next batch will be better?
