That will cost you.
I have the AC on and I am sticking to things. I have no body fat either. This isn't right. What the heck gives?! Is there a way we can use a bunch of robots to relinquish themselves of any or all gasses to move the planet a notch or two to the point were we don't have to experience this kind of sweltering heat? I feel like a herd of fat women all piled in together in a room the size of a out house with Mr. Sun knocking on the door.

Okay, so it isn't as bad as a few days ago. But man, that humidity is lingering in the household and just won't leave.. go away you unwanted water vapor in the atmosphere!

Yeah, it's pretty nasty today in good ole Missouri. You walk outside and its like walking into a freaking sauna.

Yeah man if I want to walk into a bloody sauna I bloody will walk into a bloody sauna!

I mean what's up with mother nature bullying us around? Yeah yeah pollution caused from gas emissions... but mother nature needs to know two wrongs don't make a right. Just because someone does something bad to you, doesn't mean you have to do it back.

Kidding! Looks around for any random changes in weather around his house... is that a thunder cloud forming? Eeeek!!!

I'm just posting because if it's just you two talking about how sweaty you both are people are going to talk.

Oh no.... I just made a threesome....

love the Futurama reference....hot as hell down here too....the drought isn't helping much...you would think with no water in forever would take away the humidity but alas. i'm headed to new orleans next week, might as well wear 3 shirts to soak up the sweat.

Hey Niel. *waves* ;)

i got you beat. the house i'm staying in for the summer in florida has had a faulty ac problem all week. three different service guys have come out and claimed to fix the problem and within an hour, the temp rises to 85 inside. today my uncle had the last guy out again and he claimed the problem was the air handler. he charged my unc $3200 to replace the handler and a whole bunch of ducts. the guy was here for 9 hours and left. within 30 minutes, the temp spiked up to 85 again. apparantly most ac techs in florida don't know anything about ac. as i'm typing now, the guy is back and is replacing the thermostat. i don't know much about ac but you'd think that would be the first thing they would have checked.
my uncle just about came to blows with this guy after getting charged $3200, which he put on his cc. this trip has been mostly bad tidings. i miss colorado. :monkey2

wow.
I feel his pain.
We just had to put a new central air unit this week.
just over $3000 :monkey2

It feels like a normal summer here. We've been getting 90's-100's for a while now. And it technically isn't summer yet. Although today is odd in that we've got a lot of bad thunderstorms.

update, the ac is still not working properly. after a new thermostat and wiring, still no relief. been one week today. now the ac company owner himself will be coming out tomorrow. in the interim, pieces of insulation and little black flecks of unidentifed mass are coming out of the air vents. my uncle had his bed covered in this junk. he had to leave before he and i quote, 'did something that would get him 20 years.'

and the fun in paradise continues. honestly, i have spent several summers here and have never seen anything like what is happening. this kind of business practices should be strictly regulated because my uncle is getting screwed. in his rant he tried to explain that in florida, ac is a necessity and not a luxury. good luck there. but i do see his point. it sure is freakin' hot and i can see how someone could die from this! :crying :cuss

It's no picnic over here in Georgia, either. We're having a drought as well and I was outdoors this weekend in the blistering heat with some nasty humidity. The mosquitos ate me for lunch and dinner.

My legs are itching insanely right now. :monkey4

I'm glad I live in bipolar southern california. We'll get 103 heat on monday and 63 the next day. climate never wants to make up it's mind, end of the world weather. I do feel bad for you freaks out there with no a/c. I think without it I would just live in the pool or just die. hang on in there. :emperor :emperor

Where I live mosquitos are the provincial bird. So much so we erected a statue within that province that stands a good 20 feet. lol

Well, it hit the 99 to 100 degree range here today. And the air conditioner is holding up fine ... although that means the electricity bill for the month is going to double if it keeps up ... now I am sad :monkey2

update, i don't know whether to laugh or cry. the owner never showed. so at 10:30pm last night there's a knock on the door and the guy that originally put in the equipment came back and said the owner wanted him to come there and make a showing. after the owner had a first appointment with my uncle, then changed it to 10am, 1pm, 4pm and then never showed he sends the guy that's not sure what he's doing back. my uncle didn't let him in. can you imagine, 10:30pm at night??? this is getting weird and scary. :google
