Still looks good, but I don't know how anyone could think this is the same head. Look at all the deep lines below his mouth where there was nothing in the prototype.

The reason it looks different is BECAUSE of the lighting. This always happens. Look at the display. The only light on the figure is from the bottom floor. Toy hunters has always done this.

It just brings out the lines on the figures face even more.

The only thing I'd worry about is that damn hat. I thought for sure they'd fix it for the production run. The head though? Still seems perfect.

Do you guys honestly believe the final product is going to be identical to the prototype? The figure on display now is most likely the final production piece; he's standing on the base Batman comes with. It's completely reasonable to believe the differences pictured aren't merely a trick of the light.

I don't think it will be identical to the prototype because obviously the production piece is a cast OF that. Not to mention each one is supposedly hand painted, which means each one is unique.

But I do think they haven't changed anything and it is pretty much identical to the prototype other than the things mentioned above. The light is what makes it appear to be drastically different. In hand, I think it will be closer to the original proto.
