Not going to lie, that hat is bugging the ____ out of me

Sculpt is great though, yeah sure....few angles not 100% JN, but definately good enough for me.

But that hat

Did I mention the hat.

I can't believe that in this whole post you neglected to mention the hat. Its easily the most notable downer of this figure.

When you look at the video of him, it looks like JN from all angles.

Like MaulFan and a few others said, photo lighting is probably the culprit.

Just goes to show how subjective this sort of thing is.

I just posted that picture as an example of an angle that doesn't look right!


I honestly think it looks the most like Jack Nicholson from this angle:

I think he looks awesome. Cant wait to get him(s).

My only complaint, and my only issue from day one of first pics. Some of those hands look like they are inflated with air, like weird balloon animals. Its buged me from the start. So some of those hands will not be used.

Other than that, I cant wait. We knew, they were not going to fix that hat.

I'm always wary about how having the same figure in your collection twice might look a bit weird but with the amount of accessories and the fact that the overcoat almost makes a second outfit I'm seriously considering getting two of these now.

Even things like the megaphone which I thought I'd never pose him with look far too awsome to be confined to the box for eternity.

Nothing wrong with the sculpt as far as I can see. Looks the same as the proto.

Pretty sure it is the same.

I'm thinking the long jacket is definitely the way to go to begin with just a toss up between what accessories though

Pretty sure in the film he was wearing the long jacket when he had the megaphone

at that macro level it seems bad, but I think in real life you might not even notice...

anyone else predicting this thing will hit a high price, like the next wolverine kinda thing, or did they make so many... we got another thriller?

OK, so the day shift is clearing out and the night shift is coming in... seems several people are dissatisfied by the sculpt. Is it really just the dark under the eyes or is there something missing from the sculpt? I'm trying to see what's wrong with it.

This day shifter still loves it. Top 5 figure EVA!!

Not too often that we get an iconic actor and character rolled into one perfect figure..... Damn Indy sculpt.

Damn, seeing the pictures for this is making me rethink skipping on this line. This looks like one of the best figures made by Hot Toys to date. I might just get this and Batman now. If I wasn't overwhelmed with the Avengers stuff I would have gotten this already.

I'm not the day or night shift, I'm the HT's Batman 1989 collector's shift and after I saw the protos of this piece I was going to get it, but all I had to see is a couple of in hand pics by Lukas and OMG to convince me to not wait for SSC, I'm going through the chinese ebay connection. Just waiting for the top ebayers to get them in stock, hopefully by the end of the weekend.

I usually don't collect the villains, but Nicholson as the Joker is a must have! I also made an exception with the Ledger Joker.
